"I didn't say nun about this girl, period" — Sexyy Red responds after her sister accuses Latto of copying her dance moves

Recently, Sexyy Red’s sister accused fellow rapper Latto of reportedly copying the Pound Town singer’s dance routine in preparation for her forthcoming concert. On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Latto shared a post on Instagram showing off her dance moves with her team and wrote in the caption:

“Not making a penny from Birthday Bash. I invested it all back in the show. So get yo tickets. Don’t waste my money. Link in bio. Also, figuring out a live stream for my ppl who don’t live in the A. So, hold tight!!!! @hot1079atl.”

In the comment section of the post, Sexyy Red’s sister, with the handle @soprettypinkk._ shaded The Rap Game star and wrote:

“So, your team got you dancing now cause Sexyy Red, right?”

While Latto did not respond to her, Sexyy Red took to the comment section of @theneighborhoodtalk’s repost of the same and cleared the air once and for all. She claimed she had no issues with Latto and wrote:

“I didn’t say nun about this girl, period. I don’t have ah problem with @latto!!”

At the time of writing, the comment had earned 11,147 likes and 270 replies and had gone viral. Not only that, but the Get It S*xyy singer also liked Latto’s post.

Notably, around the same time her sister shaded Latto, Sexyy took to her Instagram Story and wrote she was “sick” of being the “blueprint” for other “h*es” alongside the image, which appeared to be taken inside a car’s backseat.

Sexyy Red was previously rumored to be feuding with Latto

In October 2023, a rumor arose on social media that Sexyy Red was involved in a beef with Latto. Back then, the former liked a post about girls uniting to make TRU Religion a trending brand.

In the wake of this, the latter posted a photo of herself donning a TRU Religion outfit. While fans of the U My Everything singer speculated that Latto was copying her, Red intervened and wrote on X:

“Definitely, not shading her. I’m direct with it whatever I gotta say.”

To prove her point, she even called out rapper Khia during a feud and said she would “drag her ol’ bones” if needed.

Miss Mulatto too clapped back at a Red's fan under @theshaderoom's Instagram post and wrote, "no what's crazy is y'all accuse me of copying any and every thing and when I prove y'all wrong, I'm doing tewww muchhhh."

Meanwhile, the Ghetto Superstar hitmaker is not the only person Latto was accused of copying. Earlier, she was claimed to be stealing the ideas of Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Flo Millie, and 21 Savage, among others.

Sexyy Red and Latto are also former collaborators who appeared on Yung Nudy’s Peaches & Eggplants and Cardi B’s Motion, both in 2023.

For those unaware, Latto is gearing up for the Birthday Bash 2024 concert organized by Hot 107.9 radio station. She is all set to perform at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on June 22 in collaboration with her friends Boosie and Killer Mike.

In contrast, Red has been busy with the launch of her new album In S*xyy We Trust and dropped its latest single, U My Everything, featuring Drake earlier this month.
