Baby Storme has responded to the comments Azealia Banks passed about her on X on September 4, 2022. Ice Spice and Baby Storme had a public spat in May 2024, so when Banks called Storme a 'Baby toad," but said she had a point in her criticism of Ice Spice, the latter shot back begrudgingly. She tweeted:
"I still dislike you.. But thanks."
Ice Spice's former tourmate and New York-based artist Cleotrapa had come out with allegations against the Munch singer in September 2024, claiming she was a "fake friend."
She also claimed that she was only added to the Y2K Tour because the Von Dutch singer was on the outs with Nicki Minaj, and so she needed Cleotrapa to help her repair her image.
Former tourmate Cleotrapa spills the tea on beef with Ice Spice
Cleotrapa posted a five-part video detailing the same, as she spoke about being treated poorly while on the road. She claims she had to pay for her own stay and food, and was allegedly forced to use filthy bathrooms to change. However, Ice Spice had supposedly told her that everything would be taken care of.
"You actually have one time to show me that you are jealous, intimidated, untrustworthy, fake, disloyal, ingenuine, manipulative and calculated."
Cleo also claimed that she wasn't imbursed for her work. She insisted she had no problem with it, and instead, all she wanted was recognition. She added that Ice Spice was "intimated" by her, and only used her to prop herself up as the better performer.
"I never had a problem with not being paid btw I knew. I just want everyone to stop thinking I was paid cause I wasn’t."
Ice Spice says she "notices a pattern" in people dissing her
Ice Spice decided against keeping mum, when she responded on Twitter Spaces, on September 3, 2024, saying that she was being exploited for her fame. She claimed that it's "a pattern" she's noticing now, wherein if they feel like they can "no longer use" her platform, they would act out against her. She added:
“You got less than 10,000 listeners and I’m sharing my stage with you. And you feeling so entitled.”
Baby Storme and Azelia Banks pitch in
Baby Storme is the one who revealed, in June 2024, the chats where Ice Spice called Nicki Minaj "delusional." She also dished her own opinions about the same on X, saying in a tweet to Cleotrapa:
“I tried to warn you & you just threatened to beat me up. Nevertheless, I’m sorry that happened to you.”
Cleo tweeted back at Baby Storme, saying:
“Oh I threatened to beat you up cause you was doing all that cause was mad at ice. It didn’t give you had any respect for me boo You really could’ve dm’d me from the jump with that whole situation if you was on some real bi**h sh*t word but thank you.”
Azaelia Banks also shared her two cents on the whole shindig. While she may have referred to Baby Storme as "baby toad," she did give her props for the valid things she had to say regarding the Munch singer.
In her tweet, she wrote:
"Welp. Baby toad.... looks like I gotta hand this one to ya. . . You got it sis."
Storme reacted to the same with thanks... and a tinge of hatred.
Ice Spice is currently on the road for her Y2K Tour. It commenced on July 4, 2024, and will span 37 shows, before it comes to an end on November 20, 2024.
