Podcaster Joe Budden shared his opinion on Lil Pump endorsing Republican nominee Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election on November 5, 2024. In the August 1 episode of his eponymous podcast, Budden and his co-hosts get to the topic of rapper Swae Lee, encouraging people not to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.
This led to them talking about the various celebrities who have backed either candidate. Budden mentioned Lil Pump, an ardent Donald Trump supporter since 2020, who has a tattoo of the former president's mugshot on his thigh. He referred to the rapper as a "s*** stain" saying,
"I still don't know why he's a thing. Like I just think of a s*** stain... a white s*** stain... I've never seen him not look s*** stainish..."
He also said he was adding him to his hit list of people to diss, as he seemed like an "easy target."

In the next story, he posted Budden's mugshot accompanied by several laugh emojis. In the follow-up story, Pump included a screenshot of a May 2021 Variety article with the headline "Joe Budden Accused of S*xual Harassment by Fellow Podcast Host Olivia Dope, Issues Apology."
Dope, the host of the podcast See, the Thing Is on the Joe Budden Network, alleged the podcaster appeared on the 16th episode of her podcast and,
"Continuously made s*xual, suggestive remarks to me that made me extremely uncomfortable as well as fearful of dampening the mood if I didn’t laugh along while he made those s*xual remarks to me.”
Budden issued a public apology for his actions, vowing changes and growth. Lil Pump concluded his series of Instagram stories about Budden with the line "It's never OK to hit women ur a piece of s***."
While there is no history of any animosity between Lil Pump and Budden, the former co-signed Quavo and Lil Yachty's 2017 track Ice Tray. The track started with a diss against Budden.
