TV personality Raymond Scott, a.k.a. Benzino, recently weighed in on 50 Cent's remarks about Jay-Z after the latter was named co-defendant in one of Diddy's lawsuits. During his appearance on the YouTube channel RealLyfe Productions last week, Scott was questioned about his thoughts on Fif trolling Hov. He replied:
"He's (50 Cent) a jealous man, insecure man. He's insecure because real confident n**ga don't do that to other n**as."

Benzino added that people shouldn't "make themselves look good at another n**gas demise." He continued:
"There are certain things about being a man, right... I was fortunate to have a father who was there in my life. (Even though he) was in jail, I still visited him (and) I still got the message. Guys like 50, I don't think their father was around to give them the message."
Benzino is referring to a number of social media posts Fif shared targeting Jay-Z in light of him being named co-defendant in a Diddy lawsuit. The victim, who initially sued Diddy in October, claimed both men took turns r*ping her while an unnamed female celebrity watched at an MTV VMA after-party in 2000.
In one post, the G-Unit rapper took a dig at Jay's company, Roc Nation (which works with the NFL to organize the Super Bowl halftime shows), writing:
"Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl. I’m just asking for a friend."
50 Cent recently shared a video of Benzino having a mental health crisis
Benzino and 50 Cent have shared a rocky relationship. In April 2024, the media personality, during his appearance on the We In Miami podcast, claimed that he could win against 50 in a fight. He even alleged that the rapper was recently beefing with Diddy because they were both involved with the same woman, Daphne Joy.
While Fif didn't respond at the time, on Wednesday, he took to his Instagram to share a post showing Benzino having a mental health crisis with the caption:
"Benzino caught on video, by his girlfriend Ashley Bell threatening to unalive him self with a knife because she called the cops for him allegedly beating her."
The former The Source publisher is seen on his hands and knees crying while holding a knife to his throat.
His girlfriend, Ashley Bell (who originally recorded the video), can be heard asking Benzino to stop and calm down repeatedly. While he states:
"Call the police."
Per an article by All Hip Hop, 50 Cent reportedly shared the post due to Benzino's ongoing feud with Fif's friend, Eminem.
Benzino addressed the allegations in an Instagram post stating he was enacting a scene from a movie he was set to star in. He also denied the allegations of hurting Bell and even thanked 50 Cent for promoting his film.
50 Cent and Jay-Z have been reportedly known to make digs at each other in the past. On his single How to Rob (1999), Fif named several rappers, including Hov, whose album sales gave him "something to live for." In response, the latter rapper On his song It's Hot (Some Like It Hot), he sang, "I'm about a dollar; what the f**k is 50 cents?"
Despite taking swipes at each other, they have collaborated on I Get Money (Forbes 1, 2, 3 Remix) with Diddy in 2007 and even co-headlined the Rock the Mic tour in 2003.
Jay-Z has denied the claims made in the lawsuit, stating that it was just a "blackmail attempt." He alleged that the allegations were "heinous" and even criticized the victim's lawyer, Tony Buzbee, calling him "deplorable" and stating that he was known for "theatrics."
At the time, Buzbee took to his Instagram to claim he was being targeted by "mysterious people." But added that he wouldn't be intimidated.
Last week, the victim admitted to inconsistencies in her report (during an interview with NBC), stating she "may have made a mistake in identifying." But she stood by her claims. In response, Hov released another statement asserting that the "incident didn't happen" and that Buzbee filed a false complaint for "money and fame" without proper vetting.
