Piers Morgan has finally issued an apology after he invited Jaguar Wright on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored to talk about the ongoing Diddy case, and the singer instead leveled allegations at Jay-Z. Addressing the viewers on October 8, Piers Morgan clarified the whole situation and talked about Jay-Z and Beyoncé taking legal action due to the same.
Morgan said:
"Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact. I agreed to comply with their legal request to cut Wright's allegations from the aired interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly, at a show called Uncensored. But there are legal limits on us too."
As soon as the news about Piers Morgan apologizing to Jay-Z and Beyoncé went viral on social media, netizens began reacting, as many commented on @MobzWorld’s post. One social media user said:
“I thought they were unbothered?”
Others also talked about Jaguar's statements, with some questioning why the stars were bothered enough to take action now.
"The thing is Jaquar been on platforms for years talking about this shii they never paid attention to it until now tho that’s interesting,” added one social media user.
“They can't stick him with a lawsuit. He simply interviewed her. She's the one that said what she. He never said what she said is facts or not,” commented another X user.
“They're just adding more fuel to the fire. People already knew that Jaguar is kind of loose in the head so nobody was taking her serious. But now that they've done I'm sitting up here like damn, did what she say really bother you guys?” said one netizen.
A few netizens also chimed in criticizing Jay-Z and Beyoncé for silencing Jaguar.
“An apology? but they couldn’t even throw cassie an apology,” commented another netizen.
“They doing this because he has a huge platform. They are guilty asf. I’m so tired of them getting away with the evil things they have done to people over the years smh,” added an X user.
“Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters”: Jaguar Wright’s statement on Piers Morgan’s show revisited as Beyoncé and Jay-Z take legal action
As Jaguar Wright appeared on Piers Morgan’s show, Uncensored, she made allegations against Diddy and Jay-Z, as she even called them both “monsters.” During the interview, Wright also stated how Jay-Z and Beyoncé have had “hundreds of victims.” Wright said:
“For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters. And the victim-making machine kept going on. They’re a nasty little couple. They do nasty things. Keeping people against their will, putting people on planes while they’re unconscious. Just like Aaliyah got on that plane unconscious. There’s a lot of things that people don’t want to talk about, Piers… I’m just being honest.”
Just after the statements of the musician went viral, Jay-Z and Beyoncé sent a legal notice to Piers Morgan demanding him to cut the defaming statements from the show. However, it has not yet been specified if the couple has also taken legal action against Jaguar Wright.
Wright’s statement came in weeks after Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, and charged with racketeering, s*x trafficking, fraud and many other crimes. Furthermore, after his arrest following a grand jury indictment, the lawyers of the rapper also requested bail multiple times, which have been rejected.
At the moment, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have not reacted to the public apology by Piers Morgan. Furthermore, Jaguar has also remained silent post her allegations against the music mogul.
