Pennsylvania based writer Ziya Abashe has sued DJ Akademiks for allegedly drugging and s*xually assaulting her. The complainant had further claimed that the incident reportedly happened back in 2022 at Ak's residence. Recently, alleged photos of her bruises also surfaced on the internet.
Since the time that the photos and other documents became available online, netizens bashed Ak and asked him to respond to the allegations made against him. While denying all the accusations mentioned in the lawsuit, DJ Akademiks stated that he had submitted all necessary photographs to the cops and "he had nothing to hide."
HotNewHipHop reported that in May, during a livestream too, Ak clearly denied the allegations when the story first became known to the public. In a recent livestream, he claimed that there was more to what has been revealed as of now. He further claimed that the police had allegedly sent him the photos which were previously included in Ziya Abashe's lawsuit.
He possibly referred to the photos that have been made available to the public and said,
"Those pictures you see aren't from some independent investigation. That's me confronting a woman. I sent those to her. I took the screenshots..."
In the previous live stream in May, DJ Akademiks said,
"Just know, according to the law and according to the police and according to all sanctioning governing authorities, Akademiks is an innocent man who has not ever been charged with anything of the sort that has to do with any deviancy..."
For the unversed, it was further mentioned in Abashe's lawsuit that she was allegedly dragged on a concrete surface, which eventually led to scratches and injuries on the back side of her body including her buttocks and elbows.
Ziya Abashe has sued DJ Akademiks and two accomplices for allegedly s*xually assaulting her
Recently, graphic photos of bruises on Abashe were revealed, which made DJ Akademiks prone to online scrutiny. Netizens bashed him for the allegations. According to the suit, Ak allegedly drugged and then s*xually assaulted the victim. The lawsuit further read:
"Mr. Allen and his two accomplices’ s*xual assault severely injured Ms. Abashe, causing significant physical and psychological pain and suffering, loss of dignity, and invasion of her privacy."
Tyrone Blackburn, Ziya Abashe's lawyer, claimed that the complainant came forward with the allegations after Ak allegedly began lying about the incident in public. Blackburn further stated that they had reportedly to get this case sorted in a private manner, however, the efforts went to vain.
DJ Akademiks had previously weighed in on the allegations made against him earlier this year, by his former partner. He claimed that he was cooperative with the cops. According to him, the law enforcement officials had allegedly also carried out their investigation using available footage and Ak's cellphone. As per an article published in January by HotNewHipHop, Ak said,
"You know what the result of that investigation was? That was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there is nothing there."
He also continued by stating that he was never detained and arrested. According to Ak, only a search warrant was issued by the authorities, as reported by HotNewHipHop.
For the unversed, along with Ak, Abashe had also involved two more individuals in her lawsuit, who have been identified as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2. According to her, they were allegedly involved in the assault as well.
