“I will never, ever drink again”— Cardi B hilariously shows the aftermath of her Birthday night out, vows to end her relationship with alcohol

A day after rapper and songwriter Cardi B celebrated her 32nd birthday on October 11, she hosted a lavish party. She took to her Instagram Stories the following morning and shared with her fans that she was so hungover from partying all night long that she never wished to touch alcohol again.

“I will never, ever drink again. I will never, pray for me. Wait, I am still drunk. I will never drink again,” the Bodak Yellow rapper said in a video.

In the same clip, Cardi B looked directly at the camera from a close angle seemingly after waking up, with her birthday makeup, wig, and attire still on. She hilariously groaned as she jokingly regretted drinking so much at her birthday bash, and claimed she was "never going outside again."

Cardi B hosted a private birthday bash at The Duke, Manhattan, New York City on October 12, calling it “Bardi in the City” which her friends, family, fans, and sister Hennessy attended. On one of her Instagram Stories from the morning after, she even jokingly wrote, “They need to ban Hennessy out of this country,” as one of her friends informed her in the DM how she “no joke drank the whole bottle alone.”

In the same screenshot, Cardi B also wrote how she “had a time” and threw up “all the way to the afties,” while the friend wrote how it was the “best f*cking birthday party.”

During the party, she also shared a few Instagram Stories sharing a glimpse of her birthday look, as she danced all the way, sipped drinks, and at one point declared, “Free shots for everyone on the floor!”

Meanwhile, she also shared a post revealing the story behind her birthday dress, a backless black mini romper alongside a glittery belt buckle, shimmery open-toe heels, and diamonds around her neck.

“So let me tell ya about my little thotty dress... the dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric… so I... went to Staten dolls gentlemen’s club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night…” the WAP rapper wrote in the caption.

She further continued:

“I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B… they still treat me like CAMILLA.”

Notably, Cardi B’s now-estranged husband and rapper Offset was missing from the birthday bash amid their tumultuous divorce, which she filed for the second time in four years in July 2024. Before the party, the I Like It rapper also shared glimpses of the presents she received from her children Kulture (6) and Wave (3), whom she shares with Offset.

“My daughter got me these balloons and these flowers,” Cardi said in a clip on her IG Stories.

In the same video, she also picked up a handmade card with a blue sticker heart and noted, “Wave did this for me,” adding that the next one was from Kulture whose handmade card had the words, “Mom, I love you more than cupcakes” written on it.

Elsewhere, she also showed a room full of gifts, including a large bouquet of pink roses with a note attached to them.
