"I will strip on my period"- Cardi B says she drinks water and tea the week before her period to not "stink" after getting criticized

American rapper Cardi B has recently disclosed her pre-menstrual habits to maintain good hygiene during her periods. In a social media livestream posted on X on December 17, the Bodak Yellow songstress explained how she refrains from drinking sodas or alcohol in order to improve her period hygiene.

It all started with Cardi asserting that men prefer dating women who are conventionally less attractive because they are allegedly more submissive than their more attractive counterparts. The claim caused a lot of stir online prompting the songstress to clarify her stance about the same. In response, the rapper wrote on X:

"This was not what the live was about ..This was about how man are intimidated of women that make their own Money cause their not as easy to control ..and how a man told me why he rather date 6 and not 10s…yall want to make it about ME so people can bully me."

When @pallnandi on X asked whether she hailed herself as a 'perfect 10,' the rapper listed an assortment of qualities she had that allegedly made her a 'perfect 10.' Cardi B opined that she had a "pretty face, pretty frame, little feet, smell good, never got an odor even when it’s that time of the month, got that grippy, street smart, a hustler, rich AF, A God-fearing woman."

Cardi B further elaborated on her menstrual hygiene in a live stream, explaining how she would maintain herself during her periods.

"You all are also mad because I said I don't stink on my period. B*tch, that's something to be proud of because b*tches be funky... No b*tch, you need to learn. It's practice with this sh*t," she said in the live stream.

Cardi B further explained how to maintain oneself so as not to 'stink' on their period. According to her, drinking lots of water and tea a week before periods is a healthy practice. She also asked fans to refrain from drinking too much soda and alcohol before their periods.

"You gotta keep it clean like that. I used to be a stripper, so your hygiene gotta be the best. Because I will strip on my period. I don't give a f*ck. I will put a tampon in that b*tch and I'm hitting that pole. So, the week before you get your period, you gotta drink water and tea. And in the week of your period, you gotta drink as much water as you can," she continued.

Cardi B recently took to X to leak alleged chats with her estranged husband Offset. The 32-year-old posted the chats after screenshots of an alleged argument between the two started doing the rounds online after Offset's account was reportedly hacked.

In the leaked chats following the hacking, Cardi B allegedly accused Offset's mother of stealing from her. Furthermore, she accused the Migos rapper of being in a relationship with someone called Pree. Netizens were quick to react to the text messages, with one suggesting that Offset wasn't interested in the Bodak Yellow rapper.

In response, Cardi leaked chats with her estranged husband, and the latter complimented her on her appearance and asked the rapper to 'come over.' Offset also texted that he 'wants her' and 'wants to f*ck.' However, Cardi B responded by texting that he is 'never getting this pu**y again.'

During a recent appearance on Twitter Spaces, Cardi talked about the leaked argument with Offset. She said:

"I'm not even gonna lie to y'all it was a hack. Sh*t is old, it's not on purpose. I would never get back with this n***a but I'm not even gonna lie, we've been peaceful for a week. So, we like the energy, it's peaceful for a week. I don't bother you, you don't bother me."

She also touched on the conversation with Offset that she leaked on X.

"And yes I did post that f*cking text message myself because it's like I don't like when n****s try to play me. I really don't like when n****s try to play me like I'm not the baddest b*tch," she admitted. "Okay? If a n***a be doing them it's because n****s is just n****s, they dogs," said the 32-year-old rapper.
