"Ian gotta diss that’s just what yall wanna hear" — Jdot Breezy responds to fans asking him what he is going to rap about after Foolio's death

Rapper Jdot Breezy recently took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where he responded to fans who had been asking him what he was going to rap about post Julio Foolio's death on June 23, 2024.

In the tweet posted on June 26, Breezy wrote,

"Y’all gone on wit all that what y’all gone rap about now b*tch Ian gotta diss that’s just what y’all wanna hear I have a whole nother fan base that f*ck wit my melodic sh*t and I can actually rap so go ask another mf dat not me."

In a following tweet, he cited his song Suicide Letter and wrote that the first song of his that hit a million views was actually a "pain song." The response came after several netizens expressed their reactions after Foolio's apparent shooting. One X user wrote,

"Just waiting on jdot, spinabenz and the rest of ATK new diss track 2 drop, wyd?"

On Instagram too, several fans commented on his recent posts, asking for a diss track. Some of the comments even accused him of being involved in the fatal shooting of Foolio.

26-year-old Julio Foolio was allegedly shot to death in Florida, on Sunday, June 23, as confirmed by his lawyer. The attorney further claimed that the assailants had ambushed the artists, before shooting him.

In a 2021 interview with Say Cheese, Jdot Breezy stated that he didn't have anything negative to say about Julio Foolio, and that things were often getting blown out of proportion. Breezy added that he wanted his name out of the entire beef, and didn't want to be a part of it, in the first place.

In the interview, he continued stating that he wanted people to know him for his music, and not any sort of controversy or beef. He claimed that it was Foolio who would instigate him at times, which prompted him to come up with a further response.

Born in the Midwest, Breezy is an emerging artist, who always wanted to be in the music industry. However, his family was more inclined to him pursuing a traditional career. In the initial days, Jdot Breezy would upload his original songs on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube.

His debut album, Life After Ralo, came out in 2019 and became quite a success, and he began rising to fame. He further worked with several popular artists including Lil Yachty and popstar Selena Gomez.
