West Coast artists and hitmakers are trending across social media platforms, with the hip-hop community and fans discussing the new "top 25 rappers" list that Adam22's No Jumper Podcast unveiled today.

Fans have taken to social media platforms like X to share their thoughts and opinions on No Jumper's "West Coast rapper's ranking." Many are highlighting their favorite artists and offering a restructured order to the list.

Given the parameters used for ranking these artists are yet to be determined, the list does find Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar, occupying the top three positions. One individual even highlighted how the Not Like Us rapper should be placed at No. 4 instead, and Ice Cube should be moved up to No. 3.

Cube was an integral member of the Compton-based hip-hop collective N.W.A., alongside Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, and MC Ren, who are credited with popularizing gangster rap worldwide.

Similar fan reactions followed, with individuals seemingly unhappy, and some confused over how certain West Coast artists were ranked and placed on the list.

"Doja over schoolboy is insane" - A surprised fan stated.
"How is the game so high?" - Said another.
"Kurupt at 18 is disrespectful as hell" - Cited a Kurupt fan.
"The game... no way. Ice Cube should be number 1" - An Ice Cube fan chimed in.
"They really put Doja Cat on here? When people think of the west nobody is talking Doja Cat…" - A Doja Cat critic claims.
"The first 5 on the list careers were heavily influenced/ impacted by Dr. Dre. Give the king of cali his respect" - Suggested a Dr. Dre fan.

Although a majority of the reactions highlighted several instances of rappers being incorrectly placed over others, a few fans were seen praising No Jumper's West Coast rapper ranking.

"List is solid there are a few people that aren’t on here that should be and some people on here that should not be, but overall this is a solid list …. Why Messy Marv ain’t on here?" - One individual questioned.
"Hate it or love it This list is solid" - Cited another.

That said, a few individuals were claiming that No Jumper, Adam22, and the Podcast team "intentionally" made this list controversial, to generate engagement and views online.

"No. U made the rankings trash so ppl would engage" - A critic stated.
