Disgraced rapper Diddy's former bodyguard, Roger Bonds, recently accused him of substance abuse. In a Monday, June 10, 2024, interview with VladTV, Bonds detailed his time working for the rapper, which included picking up pills for him. He told the host:

When questioned about how many pills the I'll Be Missing You singer took in a day, Bonds explained he didn't know. He added:

"He had a bag that he would carry with him every day, and it was up to the assistant or even the security to carry this bag... He had a name for it, it was called the medicine bag.... In this medicine bag would be everything that he'd need."

Diddy's former bodyguard's interview comes as the rapper continues to face backlash after a 2016 surveillance video showing him physically assaulting his then girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

The footage corroborates parts of Cassie's November 2023 lawsuit accusing the Bad Boy Records founder of s*xual abuse, violence, and substance abuse.

While Cassie's complaint was settled a day after it was filed, several others sued Puffy, citing similar accusations.

"He had doctors that would just write him a prescription"— Roger Bonds about Diddy using others to obtain prescription medicines

The VladTV host questioned Roger Bonds about a particular point in Cassie's lawsuit, claiming Puffy introduced her to a lifestyle filled with "copious amounts of drugs" such as ecstasy and ketamine during a weekend trip to Miami.

She claimed she "became more intoxicated than she ever had before, and her intoxication lasted throughout the weekend trip."

Ventura claimed in the suit that she could not refuse Diddy as she wanted him to continue supporting her career. Additionally, she alleged the rapper was "addicted to prescription painkillers and took ecstasy frequently," adding that he often had pills "out in the open like candy."

In response, Sean Comb's ex-bodyguard told VladTV that the music mogul would ask those close to him to obtain prescription medications. Detailing their time in Miami, he explained—

"Everybody would go to the pharmacy and pick his sh*t up in their name. Even one time... I believe I went and picked up something in my name one time. I just gave it to Diddy."

He continued:

"But he would do that on the regular. So at that point, I thought it was because he was Diddy and didn't just want to go into CVS. But he had doctors that would just write him a prescription for whatever he wanted."

Bonds also named the array of drugs in the Bump, Bump, Bump rapper's "medicine bag." While most names in the interview were censored, the medications included opiates, Percocet, Viagra, and Cialis.

Additionally, he explained the prescriptions were never in Puffy's name but rather in his assistant's or anybody else's name.

During his interview, Roger confessed that he too got lured into the lifestyle at one point, stating that there were times he was up 24-48 hours and tried ecstasy.

At the time of writing, Diddy has not responded to Roger's claims.
