Adele recently shared an emotional message for Celine Dion after the music legend made a surprise visit to her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum. The Easy on Me hitmaker was seen getting emotional in fan-captured videos that circulated online when she tearfully approached Dion from the stage during her October 26 performance.

In a later post on Instagram, she explained why the moment was so important for her. She wrote:

"I have been performing in Celine Dion's room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. 4 weeks to go! It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her. I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and it was a MOMENT!!"

Alongside the heartfelt message, Adele shared a picture of her and Celine Dion sharing an embrace when she visited her Las Vegas residency, with the Canadian singer holding her face.

Speaking of the Colosseum Theater, the venue was built in 2003 and was originally built for Celine Dion's residency. During the performance, Dion was seated in a side box with her sons, Nelson and Eddy Angelil.

Adele visited Celine Dion backstage at the Colosseum during her second residency in 2018, calling their meet-up an "absolute highlight" of her life in an Instagram post.

Around six years later, the script flipped, and the My Heart Will Go On singer was the one in the audience, and Adele was next to her.

The Set Fire to the Rain musician took to social media to share how much it means to see the Canadian singer during her performance, saying:

"@celinedion I love you so very very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family."

In the fan-captured videos of her October 26 concert, Adele can be seen in the middle of a song when she discovered the Canadian singer in the audience. She stopped and burst into tears before coming to Dion, reaching over the railing, and embracing her.

The emotional video also featured the legendary Celine Dion holding Adele's face and kissing her hand before the latter continued her performance.

In her Instagram post, the Love In the Dark hitmaker shared how their encounter had been an "honor" and that it's a core memory she will never forget. She said:

"I have loved being there it has been such an honor and Saturday night will be something I remember forever and ever. Such a full circle moment for me to be there with you. Thank you so much."

Weekends with Adele at the Colosseum Theater at Caesar's Palace are wrapping up. Her final show scheduled on Saturday, November 23.

As for Celine Dion, attending the concert was her most recent public appearance after she revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome on December 22.

The incurable disorder, which the singer described as "somebody's strangling you," has mostly hindered with live music career.

However, she made headlines in the summer after a moving performance of Edith Piaf's Hymne a l'amour during the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
