Rapper Lil Baby recently addressed the ongoing jokes and commentary surrounding a viral photo of him sharing a hug with billionaire entrepreneur Michael Rubin. The photo, taken at a white party, first went viral in 2023.

On December 18, 2024, during a podcast session with Lil Yachty on A Safe Place, rapper Lil Baby admitted that the jokes surrounding his viral photo—where he was seen sandwiched in a hug with Michael Rubin and Kyle Kuzma—bothered him. He further suggested that he was against posting those pictures online.

Following his remarks, netizens on X flooded the platform with comments and reactions. Many argued that the Georgian rapper should not take offense to the photos, as the situation appeared more suspicious than upsetting. One X user commented:'

"It's more sus to be so upset about it lmao."

Conversely, several users praised the Georgian rapper for having the confidence to discuss a topic that could be uncomfortable openly. Others said the viral photo should not bother him, as it was simply a casual hug.

"it gets to a point where u gotta be more confident about stuff like that," a netizen on X commented.
"I ain't ever seen dude with this much energy. Must be sober," another commented.
"This should not bother him that much that he crashes out about it years after it happened 😭 ain't thug his mentor look how he dealt with this stuff," one more commented.

Notably, some users found Lil Baby's comment about retrieving the security footage particularly amusing, joking that such an action would make the situation appear even more suspicious.

"does he realize this clip makes him seem more zesty, like it's a friendly hug and nothing more but the fact that he's so adamant abt proving it was subtle is telling lol," a user on X commented.
"obtaining the security footage is hilarious ngl," one more on X.
"Millionaire rappers are hilarious people 😭😂," another commented.

As of now, Lil Baby has not responded to the online reactions, and Michael Rubin has not addressed the Georgian rapper's comments.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Lil Baby addressed his viral hug photo with Michael Rubin during a podcast with Lil Yachty. The Georgian rapper firmly stated that he does not play with other men.

"Imma start coming in on n*ggas sh*t just yeah. I am going to just growing but I don't really got too much time to put into that, you know what I am saying? Like, even whole Micheal Rubin thing. Bruh, I don't play with n*ggas, period. You know what I am saying? Like, no funny weird sh*t," Lil said.

Lil Baby explained the context of the moment, emphasizing that everyone was excited to see each other. However, he revealed that he had explicitly told Michael Rubin and Kyle Kuzma that he did not want pictures like that to be posted online.

"I am dapping Kuzma up and Mike happy to see he run up on me... Even the pictures became viral before that, I told him I cannot have pictures like that... Bruh, when literally the pictures came out, I made Mike Rubin go to his security camera, go to the footage and get the whole thing," Lil added.

The photo was taken at Michael Rubin's exclusive White Party, hosted aboard a yacht on July 4, 2023. After the images went viral, many social media users speculated and criticized the trio, with some accusing them of being inappropriate with each other, as reported by All Hip Hop.

On July 20, 2024, during an appearance on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning, Michael Rubin admitted that the photo had negatively impacted Lil Baby's career.
