More about the London tour of The Killers
The Killers performed ten songs, soon after which they decided to pause the concert for the Euros semi-finals. The band had their first performance in the O2 Arena on July 8, and the concert was rated four stars by NME. Thomas Smith, who gave the review on behalf of the outlet, stated that the band succeeded in maintaining a balance between the hit tracks and others during the show.
Everybody cheered in the last night's show along with the band members, as soon as England won the match and reached the finals against Spain, which will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Journalist and author Tim Shipman took to X and expressed his feelings on the rock band members pausing their concert till the match ended.
Shipman wrote in the tweet,
"I’ve been to some pretty cool gigs in my time and I had mixed feelings when I realised my birthday present was the Killers at the O2 tonight clashing with the semi-final."
The July 10 show of the band was their fifth out of the six shows that they were scheduled to do in the UK. The next concert of the band is scheduled for Saturday in Madrid, Spain.
The rock band was, however, not the only one to pause a show in the middle for the Euros. Last Saturday, James Corden delayed his play in order to witness the penalty shootout between Switzerland and England.
