"Hip Hop Cop" Derrick Parker recently claimed that Diddy could rat out some of his famous friends and go broke while in jail. The Bad Boy Records founder has been in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in New York on September 16.

Derrick Parker, who has the experience of investigating hip-hop and rap cases for the NYPD in the 1990s and early 2000s, recently commented on Diddy's case. Speaking on NewsNation's show The Scoop, Parker said:

“I don’t see (Combs) getting out. I think with so much of the outcry of the victims in this case, he may either make a deal where he becomes King for a Day, where he tells everything he knows about someone else that might be bigger than what he’s doing for a deal.”

Parker claimed that Diddy could "rat" on some of his famous friends and associates who orchestrated, supported, and participated in his alleged "Freak-Offs." He continued:

“I think anybody will rat if they’re getting put into a certain position where you’re looking at R. Kelly time. R. Kelly’s doing 20 to 30 years on two separate cases in jail. That was two cases, right? (Combs) has got 100. And the problem he also has is the outcry of all these witnesses, it’s hard for a jury, I think, to listen to all these people come forward.”

Further, the Hip Hop Cop specifically mentioned Jay-Z, indicating that he was close to Sean Combs.

“Jay-Z and Diddy were pretty close. I would say that [he knew about the Freak-Offs]. It’s alleged that he knows. But a lot of people went to these parties. It’s not just Jay Z. There are other more important people that are at these Freak Off parties... everybody’s very scared right now.”

Apart from Jay-Z, Parker also mentioned names like LeBron James, Chris Brown, and Kevin Hart, who could have been Diddy's friends who allegedly participated in or knew about his infamous parties.

Speaking on the YouTube show The Scoop, Derrick Parker further elaborated on Jay-Z's alleged connection with Diddy. The hip-hop cop alleged that Jay-Z, or Hov, could be in touch with his attorneys, in case of any trouble. Parker said:

“He and Jay Z, if you notice, they’ve elevated themselves to be very, very big music moguls and in this industry. So I think what happened was that on his way up, (Combs) probably thought maybe he was invincible with some of the things that he did."

Derrick continued:

"He had no care about what he said to you or what he did to you. So I think what happened was that it took a turn where he thought he could get away with certain things, and nobody would say anything, because they either can be paid off and then forget about it and move on."

Parker guessed that Jay-Z might be "building up his attorneys," in case he faces any kind of trouble. The cop further assumed Hov's wife and singer Beyonce could also be having trouble with the same issue.

Speaking about Diddy, Parker claimed that the rapper could soon go bankrupt after he hired another team of lawyers, charging $1500 per hour, to try for bail for the third time. Diddy's pleas for bail were rejected twice before.

“I think that in this case, you have all these people that are coming forward, there’s going to be so much mounds of paperwork that these attorneys gonna have to go through with not only the criminal defense, but the lawsuits, the civil lawsuits that he’s got – they’re going to have to have a team of lawyers. (Combs) will go bankrupt," Parker commented.

Combs has been under custody after being charged with three counts of s*x trafficking and racketeering. The rapper is also facing multiple charges of s*xual abuse and harassment from several alleged victims, spanning over 30 years.

The multitude of charges against Diddy came in after the hip-hop mogul's former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023. Ventura accused Combs of r*pe, s*xual harassment, and physical abuse in her lawsuit, but the two settled it outside of court a day later.

However, multiple other victims came out after Ventura's lawsuit, accusing the rapper of similar charges of s*xual harassment and r*pe. Combs' Los Angeles and Miami homes were also raided in March 2024, due to his alleged connection to a s*x trafficking investigation.

Sean Combs will reportedly remain in custody until his trial.
