American singer JoJo Siwa was recently seen in a bold look when she appeared at Lifetime’s Dance Moms: The Reunion premiere in New York City on April 25. The 20-year-old singer was seen wearing a 'Karma's a B**ch' T-shirt along with a pair of shorts that belonged to one of her boy dancers.

The saying on the shirt is taken from her latest release Karma. JoJo further spoke to PEOPLE and stated that she gets assistance from her mother in designing her merch. She further added that the T-shirt she was wearing was a merch as well. Along with the shirt, her bedazzled cap and the colorful pink gloves added more bling to the outfit.

Boomerang singer JoJo Siwa opens up about her latest outfit that she wore in the premiere of Dance Moms: The Reunion in New York City

JoJo Siwa spoke to PEOPLE magazine on the red carpet while she made an appearance at the premiere of Dance Moms: The Reunion on Thursday. The most striking thing was her outfit which was a 'Karma is a B**tch' T-shirt that had been borrowed from her latest song. Siwa said

"I decide what I want to wear and then she embellishes. This is actually my merch. Get it at JoJoSiwa.com. It's my 'Karma' merch."

Her Karma merch is already available on her website and lists three items as of now. JoJo Siwa's outfit did not have just the T-shirt that caught attention, but also her caps and pink, black, and silver gloves added to the bling. The singer added

"These gloves were a very wise choice. That'll make sense one day. And yeah, the rest of it, these shorts were actually one of my boy dancers in ‘Karma.’ So they have a little p*nis pouch, but we're just ignoring that."

Her song Karma, was released on April 5, 2024. Siwa, who initially was known as a child artist is seen taking a new way which is a little different from her bubbly personality. In the latest track, JoJo Siwa has been seen in cutout outfits as well as dark makeup.

A month back, while attending the 2024 GLAAD Awards, she spoke to PEOPLE and discussed the possible transition. She added that many people have done it in the past, and she believes she's the first one to "give a heads up" before such a turn. Siwa stated

"I've seen people before me make this transition, I've seen how much I loved it, and I've seen also how much the world has criticized us, so I am ready for that."

Siwa's recent KISS-inspired look was the talk of the town for quite a while

Talking about the drastic transition, it is worth mentioning that earlier in April while making an appearance at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Siwa wore a bedazzled black outfit that was inspired by the famous American rock band KISS.

The outfit included a black and silver bodysuit which had lots of cutouts. JoJo Siwa also had a faux hawk hairstyle, black lipstick, and star-shaped makeup around the eyes. The outfit did not go unnoticed even for Simmons who praised the young singer for her "bad girl rocker" look. He told TMZ

"Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary. JoJo is extraordinary and she looks cool."

JoJo Siwa's fashion game has changed a lot since she joined Dance Moms in 2015, as a dancer. Back then, she was mostly seen wearing her signature bow on her hair. Then in 2016, she was seen at the Kids' Choice Awards, where she wore a graphic T-shirt and yet again a pink bow. Siwa added a pair of pink Converse sneakers while also dying the ends of her hair pink.

In the same year, she was once seen experimenting when she wore heels and a blush pink dress. Her look started to get athletic by 2017 when she was spotted a lot wearing ripped jeans styled with sports jackets. Eventually, glitter and embellishments became a constant in her fits.

She wore the KISS-inspired outfit recently at the event. JoJo Siwa, however, didn't specifically talk about why she opted for her metal look. Siwa was seen in a similar look in her latest track too. Her former dance teacher Abby Lee Miller, who is also a Dance Moms star, reacted to the song and said

"I’m going to watch it over and over and over again. I'm sure that's what Jojo is counting on — that everyone is just going to watch it [repeatedly]."

Billboard reported that the outfit was a homage to Gene Simmons, better known as "The Demon" on stage. However, it was later claimed that the look was to prepare fans for her new release Karma.

Apart from JoJo Siwa, several other personalities attended the Dance Moms: The Reunion premiere, on April 25. This includes Chloé Lukasiak, Paige Hyland, Brooke Hyland, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker.
