Keefe D found himself in a tough spot after he was denied bond once more in the 2Pac murder trial. Denying the bond, the judge stated the jury doubted the legitimacy of the mail money. The same was rejected even after Keefe D’s lawyers provided the judge with proper proof of the money being legal.

However, on August 27, the judge in the case, Carli Kierny rejected the bond and claimed that she received two letters from an entertainment company stating that Wack 100 had wired the funds to Keefe D in exchange for the services provided, which remain unknown.

The judge also claimed that the letters were by people who did not have any links with the business. It is worth noting the bail money for the bond was a whopping $750,000. However, after the bond was denied, Wack 100 appeared in the court via video call, and justified that $112,500 out of the total amount was a “gift.”

A similar bond was also rejected in June, as the judge doubted that Keefe D would give the rights of his story to Wack 100, which, as per Black Enterprise, is not allowed in Nevada. The media outlet mentions that those convicted of murder cannot profit from the crimes they commit, and hence, his bond was denied.

Keefe D was arrested on September 29, 2023, which is 27 years after Shakur was shot in Las Vegas. While Keefe has allegedly been charged as a suspected accomplice, Orlando Anderson was the prime suspect. However, the Crips gang member passed away in May 1998, after being shot in a shootout.

“I will get you out and then we’ll sit down and talk about all that”- Details explored as prosecutors present a phone calling recording between Wack and Keefe D

As Keefe D’s bail bond was rejected yet another time, the alleged suspect in the Shakur murder case argued that his money was legitimate. However, the prosecutors presented a phone call recording where Wack and Keefe were allegedly discussing the deal.

The prosecutors claimed that in the alleged phone call, the two were discussing Keefe selling his life story for money.

As per Hip Hop DX, Keef was heard saying in the phone call recording:

“You got to remember, this sh*t can set you up for the rest of your life. I will get you out and then we’ll sit down and talk about all that.”

In his previous trials, Keefe’s lawyers mentioned Keefe had been diagnosed with cancer, and requested leniency in the case. The lawyers mentioned that their client “poses no danger” as his health is deteriorating by the minute. As the bail bond is being denied in every trial, Billboard mentioned that the new trial would begin in March 2025.
