Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia recently alleged that she was offered $12 million by Zach Bryan's team to sign a non-disclosure agreement on their relationship and breakup. This happened after Bryan announced on an Instagram story on October 22, that he and LaPaglia were no longer together.
Speaking on November 7, Thursday’s episode of BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, LaPaglia shared,
“After everything was done, I was approached by [Bryan’s] team and I was offered a lot of money, a big lump sum of money and a few options.”
In addition, LaPaglia also claimed that the payment would have been sent over a three-year period, statedly in return for her silence. Talking about the $12 million allegedly offered by Zach Bryan, she said,
“I don’t think you can pay people off that you hurt [and expect] for them to protect you … offering millions of dollars to this apparent beautiful relationship [and] keep it a secret, speaks volumes.”
Subsequently, netizens expressed their opinions about LaPaglia's claims. They commented on X user @BFFsPod’s post, where one user compared Bryan with Diddy.
“Lmao that amount of money in an NDA just seems problematic like Diddy level,” commented one netizen.
Other netizens started speculating if he was trying to cover up a crime. One user asked if he even had the money.
“12 million just to not speak?? Is he hiding a murder?” asked one user.
“Has to be crimes involved. No way you pay 12 million so people don't think you are a jerk,” alleged one netizen.
“Does he even have $12m?” asked another user.
Others praised her for not accepting the money. Some claimed that she didn’t even need the money allegedly offered by Zach Bryan as she could earn it from her own podcast.
“She is going to double that amount on her own after the podcast,” one user said.
“Girl is smart af for not signing that nda she can write her own story now n make way more $ than 12mil in the long run,” one user claimed.
“Turned down $12 million just to go on a podcast to say “Rich famous guy actually isn’t very nice.” Yikes,” claimed another user.
Brianna Chickenfry opened up about the $12 million allegedly offered to her by Zach Bryan’s team
Shortly after Zach Bryan's breakup announcement on social media, on October 22, LaPaglia took to her Instagram story writing that she felt "blindsided". During the recent podcast, she alleged that his team would watch her every move if she had taken the money. She claimed that after giving the offer some thought, she finally declined it, saying,
“I think they tend to forget that I was someone, I was established, I was successful, before [Bryan].... I’m going to be someone, I’m going to be established [and] I’m going to be successful after him [too].
In addition, she referred to the offer as "blood money". She then stated that she debated accepting the money at first before deciding against it. She further claimed that Zach Bryan allegedly made his former partners sign non-disclosure agreements as well.
“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice but to take money from you… [They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing you little f–king songs onstage like you’re a good dude.”
Additionally, LaPaglia claimed that she was "scared" of Zach Bryan, saying,
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude.. I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad. And last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared…”
As of this writing, Zach Bryan did not make a statement about the allegation of offering LaPaglia $12 million. He also didn’t give a reason for the breakup.
