On August 19, rapper Kanye West's former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, took to X to share alleged details about the rapper's current chief of staff, Eric Cui, and his financial situation. The former chief of staff has previously accused the rapper of using nitrous oxide, popularly known as laughing gas, for substance abuse.
In a detailed thread on X, Yiannopoulos first blamed dentist Dr. Connelly for prescribing nitrous oxide to West for recreational purposes. Sharing alarming details about Ye's alleged addiction, he ended his thread by claiming the rapper currently has a "negative net worth" due to "legal exposure."
"The world’s most influential artist now enjoys an effectively negative net worth owing to easily avoidable unforced errors by Cui, who is referred to by insiders as “incompetent” and “a Drake plant.”"
Yiannopoulos claimed that Dr. Connelly declared himself bankrupt under false claims at least once. He then spoke about the alleged involvement of Eric Cui in the scandal. The former chief of staff indicated that Cui is a fan of rapper Drake, a supposed rival of West.
As per Celebrity Net Worth, Kanye West had a net worth of $400 million as of June 2024.
Earlier on August 14, Yiannopoulos shared screenshots of text messages allegedly proving that Dr. Connelly agreed to deliver laughing gas to Ye despite him being an addict.
Per Yiannopoulous' claims, Kanye West's dentist, Dr. Connelly, has been bankrupt twice
In his latest thread on August 19, Milo Yiannopoulos claimed that Dr. Connelly has been "bankrupt twice," out of which at least one was "fraudulent." The chief also wrote that he would submit a report about the same with evidence soon.
"Thomas Connelly, the dentist who got Ye hooked on nitrous gas, has been bankrupt twice. I’m submitting a whistleblower report to @IRSnews @IRS_CI tomorrow with evidence that at least one bankruptcy may have been fraudulent," he said.
Further, the chief shared an alleged screenshot indicating that Connelly reportedly told his business partner that his second bankruptcy was fake, created “to dump over $1 million in taxes." He alleged that the text messages proved the bankruptcy was declared to avoid a court judgment.
Yiannopoulos also mentioned that Connelly's business partner, Idriss Qibaa, is allegedly a self-proclaimed hacker, currently in federal custody. He alleged that Qibaa was hired by a Yeezy employee, Eric Cui, to get many of Kanye West's big fan pages suspended. The chief claimed that Cui is a fan of rapper Drake and mentioned him multiple times in the thread.
Yiannopoulos alleged that the fan pages Cui supposedly targeted had shown concern about Ye's laughing gas addiction.
"The pages in question had expressed concern about Ye’s intake of nitrous gas, an addiction Cui first sought to conceal, then later denied, before attempting and failing to distance himself from it and feign ignorance about it," he claimed.
Speaking further about Eric Cui, Yiannopoulos shared that the employee alleged that Drake would end Ye and laughed about the latter's nitrous oxide addiction. He added that Cui has not been a successful employee for Kanye West's Yeezy.
Yiannopoulos held Dr Connelly responsible for Kanye West's alleged laughing gas addiction
Last week, on August 14, Milo Yiannopoulos tweeted multiple screenshots of alleged conversations between Kanye West and Dr Thomas Connelly. He indicated that the dentist continued to give him supplies of nitrous oxide for recreational purposes despite the rapper being allegedly addicted to it. His tweet, alongside the attached screenshots, said:
"Thomas Connelly agrees to deliver recreational nitrous oxide to his heavily addicted patient Ye at the latter’s then-residence, Chateau Marmont—the site of dozens of celebrity overdoses and suicides."
Dr Thomas Connelly is known to have worked on Ye's custom titanium teeth, which are worth $850,000. In multiple other screenshots shared by Yiannopoulos, the dentist appears to be discussing plans to "master the delivery system" for nitrous oxide for non-medical purposes.
Kanye West's former chief of staff has allegedly registered a complaint against Dr Connelly with the California Dental Board. Yiannopoulos accused the dentist of being a "dangerous predator," supposedly targeting African-American celebrities and fuelling their drug addiction.
He also claimed in his complaint that Dr Connelly charged Kanye West $50,000 per month for the supply of nitrous oxide. Since then, the dentist's representatives have denied all of Yiannopoulos' allegations as "factually incorrect" and "intentionally misleading." They accused the former chief of staff of fabricating the incidents for personal gain.
