Drake stops himself from dissing Kendrick Lamar during Kick Livestream: Details explored
Drizzy's Kick live stream giveaway on December 26, 2024, made headlines owing to the huge amount of money and prizes he gave to the audience. However, one of the moments from the livestream showcased the rapper reading out an email from a fan wanting to secure free tickets and travel to his upcoming Australian tour.
The email read:
“In the beautiful land Down Under, it would be an unforgettable honeymoon filled with laughter, fun and, of course, the Drake charisma. And it’s always f*ck Ken–,”
At that point, Drizzy cut himself off from taking Lamar's name after the abuse and said:
“Oh, I am not reading that.”
Additionally, while talking about his friendship with rapper Sexxy Red, Drizzy joked and said that when he sees her, he sees "two bad ones, n*gga." It is speculated that the rapper was referring to Kendrick Lamar's line from Euphoria, which reads:
“When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad b–ches.”
The recent livestream isn't the first time Drake has indirectly talked about Kendrick Lamar. In a Kick live stream with xQc in November 2024, the rapper introduced himself by saying that he was there with his "mind, body, and soul fully intact" in case people were wondering. He added:
“You need facts to take me out; fairytales won’t do it.”
Drizzy's introductory statement was reportedly a reference to the derogatory claims Kendrick Lamar made against him, including those of the rapper being a p*dophile and having a secret daughter.
In other news, Drizzy confirmed his tour of Australia and New Zealand called the Anita Max Wynn Tour. The tour is set to begin on February 9, 2025, in Melbourne and is scheduled to end on March 1 in Auckland.
