Kodak Black reportedly expecting 5th child months after welcoming baby boy with his ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson

American rapper Kodak Black is reportedly expecting his fifth child. As per HipHopDx, the news was first shared by Jammiah Maya Broomfield, the mother of the rapper's first child King Khalid. A video posted on The Info Spot's X account on August 19 showed fireworks being set off and the name 'Baby Kapri' being lit up across a pool.

However, the name of the new baby boy’s mother still remains unknown. Kapri is reportedly related to Kodak Black’s surname as his real name is Bill Kahan Kapri.

Kodak Black welcomed his fourth baby in February with ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson. The announcement was made by his girlfriend on February 28 via X with the caption ‘2/27 a prince was born’. Interestingly, the rapper delivered the baby on his own after seeking permission from the midwife, as per HotNewHipHop. Previously, the couple had a daughter Queen Yuri, who is now two years old.

However, a few months after the good news was shared, Maranda had reportedly vandalized the rapper’s cars after he started spending time with the mother of his first child, Maya. Soon after, she began a social media rant challenging Maya for a fight which she denied by saying that Kodak Black was expecting a child. Nonetheless, she did not disclose who the mother was.

In May 2024, Maranda also uploaded an Instagram story in which she wrote:

“You doing all that groupie sh** and still don’t got sh**. Everything he buy King you sell it to buy drugs. You deadbeat-a** bi***. You so proud to get fu**** and sent home. How you a side bi*** to yo own bd??”

While some reports only mentioned about the rapper expecting his fifth baby, others added the mother's name as well. One of the publications, Hypefresh, reported that the Florida rapper's baby boy could be Maranda Johnson. The report also stated that the news was announced during a gender reveal party and the event happened on August 20.

However, the news was not confirmed at the time of publishing this article, as Kodak Black's Instagram did not have any photos from the gender reveal party.

The rapper has had multiple relationships. He first became a father in 2016 after King Khalid’s birth. Later, he had two daughters Izzabelaa and Queen Yurih. As mentioned above, his fourth child was born this year. These children were born through his different relationships.

On August 19, Kodak Black shared a story stating he felt lonely. However, his disappointment was unclear at that point. Netizens reacted to his story by saying that the rapper had also uploaded a similar post two and a half years ago.

“Now I understand nobody give af about me if I ain't paying. Lonely af out here bro.” he wrote.

Reportedly, the rapper had faced a lot of hardships and had drug addiction. In an Instagram Live on April 6, he said that he had never been happy in his life and so he was proud of himself. His fans had been supportive.
