Rapper, DJ, and music producer Gordo has recently revealed that he found a hard drive containing vintage unreleased tracks by juggernauts like Kanye West, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Takeoff, and more.

Gordo (aka Diamanté Anthony Blackmon) is a Nicaraguan-American DJ, record producer, and former rapper who first gained popularity for his DJ mixes and EDMs. His debut album, Papi Gordo came out in 2015 and peaked atop the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. His second album, Battered, Bruised and Bloody came out in 2016 and was also critically acclaimed by fans and experts alike.

Gordo's announcement on X (formerly Twitter) has taken the hip-hop community by storm, with fans urging the rapper and record producer to release the entire tracklist. Some popular reactions on X are as follows:

"Leak it," wrote a fan on X.
"Go back to being Carnage," wrote another fan.
"Time for Carnage to step out for a bit," agreed another.

One fan implored Gordo to follow Drake and release all the unseen tracks in one go, tweeting:

"Should pull a drake and release 100GBs of unseen and unreleased shit."
"drop it and call the site called 1000MBs . org loool," quipped another.
"Carnage makes a comeback? That would feed families for generations," opined one netizen.

Another fan advised him to sample the tracks in his next album.

"Use it as samples for the next batch," wrote the fan.
"Would be a shame if the hard drive went missing and all the songs were accidentally leaked," tweeted another.
"Man u got ye and chris brown!! And u don’t release?" wrote one fan on X.

Before Gordo, Drake had released a massive folder containing unreleased tracks, studio clips, and behind-the-scene shots

In August 2024, Drake released a massive archive of unseen studio footage, behind-the-scenes clips, and unreleased tracks on a site called 100gigs.org.

As the name suggests, it contained 100 gigabytes of content organized in folders dating from March 7 to June 8. After the site went live, Drizzy posted about it on his Instagram story to confirm its legitimacy.

The website contains a treasure trove of content for hip-hop fans to explore. Behind-the-scenes footage of iconic tracks like Hotline Bling, Honestly Nevermind, and clips of Drake working with Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib are all part of the huge dump.

The newest addition to the archive is a folder called 1_NEW containing three new tracks. Among them are It's Up featuring 21 Savage and Young Thug, and Housekeeping Knows featuring Latto and Blue Green Red.

Latto herself confirmed the legitimacy of Housekeeping Knows by posting a video of her rapping along with the verse on X. The song was produced by Gordo.

It was one of Drake's biggest drops since his infamous beef with rapper Kendrick Lamar. The two were part of one of the most historic rap battles in history that ended with Drake's The Heart Part 6. Meanwhile, Lamar's Not Like Us was the beef's most popular song, having over 153 million views on YouTube at the time of writing.
