American rapper GloRilla backfired at the critics who reportedly claimed that her recently released dancing video showed the singer overse*ualizing herself. On August 16, she posted a topless video on her Instagram page in which she was seen dancing to the Mama Remix with her hands covering her chest.
The song was her new single with Rob49 and Skilla Baby. However, on August 28, she took to her Instagram Live where she said the ones criticizing her for posting the topless video should mind their own business
“Let me tell you b*****s something. Y’all had so much to say because I was dancing to my song holding my t*****s. Don’t worry about what me and my t*****s doing. B***h, I bought them,” GloRilla said.
She continued,
“The label ain’t making me do s**t. A ho gone be a ho. Y’all just be swearing m***********s make m***********s do s***t. Like everything I do I be wanting to do it. Y’all just got to learn to mind your business sometimes.”
GloRilla said the label did not force her to move out of her comfort zone. She mentioned her topless video intended for her to get some h**s. Although unclear what her statement essentially meant, the video gained mixed reactions from netizens. While some appreciated her, others backlashed her for the act.
Some netizens claimed that she does not need to s*xualize her appeal and that she is already cool even without it. While on the other hand, a few shared how she was being wrongly criticized instead of being appreciated for her talent.
