“Lemme see the clouds”— Internet reacts as Soulja Boy claims he's the first rapper to ever fly a plane

Soulja Boy is currently trending on social media due to a recent post featuring a video that has captured significant attention. In the clip, recorded by an anonymous person, the rapper is seen sitting inside an airplane with a co-pilot. Notably, Soulja is heard saying in the video:

"Here's your boy Soulja Boy. You know what's going on. I'm the first rapper to fly airplane."

Soulja then turns to his co-pilot, saying:

"Let's go. We about to get in the air. You ready?"

The details about where the video was recorded are currently awaited. Apart from this, Soulja has yet to address the reasons why he decided to share the clip. As the video went viral on social media, netizens flooded the post with different responses, and one of them gave a funny reaction by writing:

Several other netizens echoed similar sentiments on the video.

Soulja Boy's performances as part of the SODMG Tour receive positive responses

Also known as DeAndre Cortez Way, he announced the dates of the SODMG Tour in support of his album Soulja Season through Instagram on September 2, 2024. The post revealed that the tour would start on September 7 in Atlanta and the final show would be held in Anchorage, Alaska, on October 12, 2024.

Notably, his performances at all the venues have been well-received by audiences. On October 1, he went to the Majestic Theatre in Madison, United States, where the crowd was spotted cheering for Soulja Boy when DJ Jean le Duke arrived on stage.

Soulja performed many of his hit singles, such as Kiss Me Thru the Phone and Crank That, while also interacting with his fans. The audience reportedly jumped with excitement as soon as the artist performed his popular Crank That Soulja Boy dance.

Another notable performance took place at the Gramercy Theatre in New York in September 2024, featuring guest appearances from Big Draco and HolliTV. Draco played his successful tracks, including You Aint Bout That Action and Pretty Boy Swag.

In an interview with The Source magazine that same month, Soulja spoke about the lessons he learned throughout his career, saying that an individual must follow his or her dreams. He stated:

"I feel like I always knew what I wanted to do from the top. When you listen to other people, that's when you get distracted from your goals. You should just focus and do what your mind tell you to do and not get distracted by other people."
