On November 12, 2024, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes entertained their followers by playfully trolling each other's worst hairstyles in a back-and-forth on Instagram. The series of banters was started by 50 Cent, who made fun of Rhymes for his seemingly painted hairline in a clip.
Rhymes was quick to reply, sharing a photo of the G-Unit boss with curly locks in an Instagram post. Rhymes claimed that the curls stank, among other things. Rhymes wrote in the caption:
“WHEN YOU GOT THIS TYPE A CRAZY SH*tT GOIN FOR NOBODY IS SAYING NOTHING. WHAT TYPE ADVISORS YOU LISTENING TO BRUH??? WHAT THE F*CK IN A 100 JARS OF TCB GEL TYPE S*** IS THIS MY N***a?? @50cent C’MON MAN!! BY THE WAY FIF, THIS S*it LOOK LIKE YA JERRY CURL STINK TOO BRUDDAH!!”

50 Cent made fun of the hairstyles of Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, and DJ Khaled in an Instagram post

In the abovementioned Instagram post by the Queens rapper, he also targeted Fat Joe and DJ Khaled along with Busta Rhymes. This comes after their endorsement of a hair color treatment for men along with Tyson Beckford.
"Nah why crazy sh*t be happening and 🥷🏾’s don’t say nothing. I think @fatjoe, Khaled, and Tyson need to intervene here. Lol WTF," he wrote in the caption.

In the same post, the rapper shared a video of Busta Rhymes explaining some dishes in a catering meal. However, the former used the clip to highlight Busta Rhymes' hairline, implying it was made with a dye. He said:
"Yo n***as out of line, yo, How they let the n***a Busta [Busta Rhymes] paint his whole head like that?”
Rhymes followed it up with an Instagram post slamming 50 Cent for keeping curly locks at one point in his career. However, the Queens rapper snapped back in the comment section claiming that the hairstyle was for a film shooting. He followed it up with another Instagram post in which he doubled down on Busta Rhymes' haircut. The rapper said in the video,
“I ain’t f**king with nobody but n***as always gotta try to one-up on me right... I get a banging leather jacket, this n***a Busta get a leather lineup.”
The video attracted the attention of stars like Gorilla Zoe, Swizz Beatz, and many others, who reacted with laughing emojis in the comment section.
When 50 Cent explained why he doesn't rap anymore

Queens rapper 50 Cent talked about the reason behind him not rapping anymore in an interview on Earn Your Leisure, which was quoted by Billboard in its October 2 feature. Born Curtis Jackson, the 49-year-old became a trending name in the hip-hop industry with his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2003.
The album received critical acclaim and peaked atop the Billboard 200 list. It also received nonuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and created chart-busting singles like 21 Questions and In da Club.
After the success of his debut album, the rapper released a plethora of hits like The Massacre (2005), Curtis (2007), and Before I Self Destruct (2009). His last release was Animal Ambition which came out way back in 2014. Since then, the rapper has focused on projects outside the music world.
In the interview on Earn Your Leisure, the rapper opined that the current rap industry creates dumb music and he would have to engage his stupid side to create music appropriate for the time. He said:
"If you listen to the music that's out right now, I have to tap into my stupid. I have to tap into the stupid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music."
However, 50 Cent revealed that he was working on new music with Dr. Dre during an appearance on Big Boy TV in January 2023. He followed it up with another teaser in an Instagram post wishing Dr. Dre for his birthday on February 19.
