During his recent performance at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, American singer Justin Timberlake had a "wardrobe malfunction" on Thursday, December 12. As part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, Timberlake was wearing a harness while performing his popular song Mirrors.

The harness unintentionally highlighted his lower body. Timberlake was then seen on camera trying to hide the problem by adjusting his shirt. The incident has since gained attention on social media.

The viral video uploaded by @TheMcKenziest has since received over 4.6 million views. On the other hand, many people even took to the comments section of @MrPopOfficial’s X post where they had mixed reactions.

Some even left hilarious and sarcastic comments with one writing that they are really searching for “the joke with a microscope.”

“Looking for the joke with a microscope,” said one user.

One wrote that it could have been worse, while another one said that maybe he is just tucking away the whole thing.

“This is going to ruin the tour,” one commented.

“It could be worse,” joked another one.

“Maybe he's just tucking it away,” wrote another one, suggestively.

On the other hand, many users defended him:

“TMZ and those like you S*CK! When TMZ is blasting a celebrity, it means that celebrity is standing up for what’s right on some issue and the industry leaders aren’t happy. This is a gentle smack on the hand. It can get much worse. I feel bad for some of the celebrities,” one user came to his defence.

“When people will stop focusing on the size of what others have, life will be sweeter. You don't need a magnum in your pants to be a man,” defended another one.

“It sucks to be a celebrity, the things you’ll get scrutinized for are sometimes weird,” another one commented.

Justin Timberlake is currently on his 7th headline tour, the Forget Tomorrow World Tour. This is his first tour in five years. The trip will end in Paris on July 20, 2025, having started in Vancouver on April 29, 2024.

Prior to the tour's debut in March 2024, Complex's Trace William Cowen announced that the tour had reportedly become his best-selling one to date.

William further said that more than one million people are anticipated to attend the tour, which had generated over $140 million in ticket sales worldwide as of March from more than 70 dates.

It further stated that Justin Timberlake had also added nine more events as a result of the "overwhelming demand."

The outlet then stated that Timberlake reportedly said in February that the second part of the tour would include 15 more locations, including a Memphis hometown performance.

Additionally, after the singer's April 29 performance at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver as part of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour, the first part of his North American tour would include places like Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego, Austin, and Atlanta.

In the meantime, he would then take the stage in Brooklyn, Newark, Detroit, Chicago, Orlando, Nashville, and other cities during the second part. This would begin in Montreal on October 4.

This isn’t the first time that Justin Timberlake got stuck in a controversy regarding his wardrobe.

US Weekly reported on December 16 that during his 2004 Super Bowl halftime performance with Janet Jackson, Timberlake reportedly tore off part of her clothing covering her upper body at the end of the show.

He and MTV then issued statements expressing regret for the accident involving Janet Jackson.

On the other hand, Justin Timberlake hasn't spoken out about the recent incident as of yet.
