Beyonce and her entourage performed at the NFL Christmas Halftime show on December 25, clad in an all-white cowgirl ensemble. The show created hype on the internet, and netizens flocked to share their reactions.
One X user shared a still from Bey's performance where she was joined by Shaboozey who sported an all-white outfit like the rest. However, the insinuation soon took another direction as the user compared it to Diddy's parties, particularly the one that had an all-white dress code:
"Loving the Diddy white party theme"
"WHY DOES THIS BEYONCÉ HALF TIME SHOW LOOK LIKE A DIDDY WHITE PARTY?" another X user resonated.
"The bigger conspiracy is why is every Rap and R&B artist trying to turn into a country music star," wondered one.
"She going to a white party aftewrwards," one more chimed in.
The comparison comes after weeks of conspiracy theories about Bey being an accomplice in Diddy's alleged crimes, most of which purportedly took place in his elite parties.
Some people claimed Bey's performance set the bar too high for Kendrick Lamar to break for his upcoming Super Bowl set in 2025.
"No way Kendrick will top this, Beyoncé ate and left no crumbs for the Super Bowl", wrote one person.
"Ended the superbowl halftime show already", another X user commented.
"She looked absolutely amazing! Loved that it was a medley of the album and she gave the other artist their moments to shine", said another.
Beyonce's NFL Halftime show featured guest appearances from other artists
The 43-year-old opened her set on a horse with a long furry white coat and a white cowboy hat while renditioning 16 Carriages.
Beyonce joined four other artists — Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, Brittney Spencer, and Tanner Adell as she began singing Blackbird. Right after the song ended, Bey moved to the center stage on the field and took off her gown to reveal her all-white cowgirl outfit.
In a long-sleeved rhinestone-studded white bodysuit and white chaps, the country star began belching out the lyrics of "Ya Ya," joined by her supporting dancers. Beyonce also delivered a performance on her 2023 dance/electronic hit My House and a RIVERDANCE from Cowboy Carter.
Shortly after, a surprise appearance from Grammy-nominated Shaboozey made the crowd erupt in loud cheers as the two joined the melody of their Cowboy Carter collaboration song Sweet Honey Buckiin. She went on to perform Levii’s Jeans alongside Post Malone.
The next on Beyonce's setlist was her version of Dolly Parton's Jolene, followed by Texas Hold'em. As Bey started singing the chart-topping hit, massive bands marched the field. Blue Ivy joined her mother to match the steps. The halftime show ended with Beyonce being elevated in the air.
