"Lying for attention"- Lil Yachty refutes claim Young Thug supported Karrahbooo

Rapper and entertainer Lil Yachty has strongly refuted the recent claims suggesting that fellow artist Young Thug publicly supported influencer Karrahbooo in an ongoing dispute.

On December 18, 2024, Yachty took to his Instagram story to seemingly address Karrahbooo's recent claims, where she alleged that Young Thug had been supporting her while incarcerated. In his post, Yachty appeared to dismiss Karrahbooo's statements, suggesting that she was lying for attention.

"Lying for attention i wish you well," Lil Yachty wrote.

This response followed Karrahbooo's Instagram Live session on December 17, 2024, during which she discussed the support she received from Young Thug, who is currently imprisoned on RICO charges, and reflected on her treatment by Lil during her time with the Concrete Boys group.

Lil Yachty seemingly calls out Karrahbooo over Young Thug support claims

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Lil Yachty addressed Karrahbooo's recent claims via his Instagram Story, refuting statements she made during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday.

During her livestream, Karrahbooo suggested that Young Thug, despite being incarcerated, had been checking on her. She also alleged that Yachty had dismissed this support, reportedly asking what Thug could do from jail.

"Young Thug was in jail checking for me. I told Boat, I was excited. He was like 'What the f*ck can that n*gga do for you from jail?,'" Karrahbooo said.

This is not the first time Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo have engaged in public disputes.

The conflict traces back to Karrahbooo’s exit from the Concrete Boys group, which Yachty confirmed during his Instagram Live session on July 29, 2024. At the time, Yachty stated that while he had nothing bad or negative to say, they had officially parted ways.

"I’mma say this sh*t one time. We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t. I have nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career,” Yachty said on an Instagram Live session.

Following this, Karrahbooo took to Instagram Live on August 22, 2024, to address the situation. She alleged that Lil Yachty told her she had been kicked out of the group and claimed she was bullied during her time with Concrete Boys.

Later that day, Yachty also went live, denying all allegations. He countered Karrahbooo’s claims, suggesting she should be transparent about how she treated others, including members of his security team.

"Tell people how you talk to people. How you tell my security guard ... Tell people how you verbally abuse people. How you said you gon' spit on me when you see me," Yatchy said.

During his response, Yachty further accused Karrahbooo of acting entitled, claiming he was “done with her princess-like behavior.” He also alleged that Karrahbooo owed the group a substantial amount of $900,000.

The situation escalated the following day, August 23, 2024, when Karrahbooo shared three songs via her Instagram Story, claiming to have written them herself.

Again, in response, on August 25, 2024, Lil Yachty addressed her assertions again, denying that she had been responsible for writing her rhymes and dismissing the bullying accusations.

Later that same day, Karrahbooo posted a lengthy message on her Instagram Story, stating that she would “never forget how she was treated” during that period of her life, once again alluding to Yachty’s alleged mistreatment.

"I'll never forget this feeling, this chapter of my life. I'll never be the same. I'll never forget who was there for me. I done chopped people out/spent my last/slapped folks 4 ni*gas," Karrahbooo wrote on Instagram story.

After months of relative quiet from both parties, Karrahbooo, with her live session on Tuesday, reignited the conflict. As of now, Karrahbooo has yet to respond to Lil Yachty's latest comments, in which he accused her of lying for attention.
