Nicki Minaj was filmed smoking a blunt just before her entrance on stage during her second night performing at the Accor Arena in Paris on June 9, 2024, as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
In the clip, the singer took several puffs from a blunt out of the audience's view. She then stepped on a platform that lifted her to the stage and dropped the blunt on the platform.
The video, posted by a fan account on June 11, with username @onikamagazinee on X(formerly Twitter), quickly went viral among Barbz, amassing over 70K views within a day, with one fan commenting:
"Mama need ginger to enter stage."
Fans were quick to jokingly comment on the video that the rapper made them want to try weed and that the blunt would make a fortune on eBay.
"She made feels like i can smoke weed," commented one person.
"Someone is gunna be selling that on eBay I bet," added another fan.
"My girl be wasting weed," another fan wrote.
Other fans commented that they could finally see how Nicki Minaj disposed of the blunt before coming on stage.
"so that’s where the blunt went," tweeted one person.
"NOT SHE THREW THE BLUNT ON THE LIFT," exclaimed another.
This video came after the Barbie Girl rapper was arrested at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport for allegedly carrying drugs on May 25, 2024. Minaj, who livestreamed her arrest on Instagram, was released on a €350 fine. However, she was forced to cancel her Manchester show that night as she was delayed at the airport.

Nicki Minaj's cryptic message left fans worried about her relationship
Nici Minaj, currently on the European leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour to promote her fifth studio album of the same name, puzzled fans as she cryptically tweeted "Yes Single..." on June 10, 2024.
The tweet, which has over 9.5 million views at the time of writing this article, left Barbz in a frenzy as they struggled to work out whether the rapper was releasing new music or announcing that she was single.
According to Vibe, Nicki Minaj has been married to Kenneth Petty since 2019 and the two welcomed their son "Papa Bear" in 2020. Their relationship has fed various online discussions after news broke that Petty was convicted of r**e in 1995.
He served his four-year sentence and is also a registered s*x offender. He was also convicted of manslaughter in 2006 and was imprisoned for seven years.
During her Paris show on June 9, Nicki Minaj alluded to someone "having a secret life and a sneaky life" behind her back while addressing the crowd, adding that she didn't "want to be loved". However, it is unclear who she was referring to in her remarks.
According to Billboard, Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour took home the title of highest-grossing rap tour for a female artist, making $67 million and selling 439,000 tickets. The tour's overwhelming success saw the rapper announce a second set of dates in North America in September 2024.
Nicki Minaj will wrap up the European leg with a final show at Astrid Park in Liège, Belgium, on July 14. The second North American leg will kick off at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on September 4, 2024, and is slated to conclude at the UBS Arena in New York on October 11.
