Liam Payne reportedly sent his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry and her family "unsolicited and disturbing" X-rated photos of himself before his death. The allegation stems from Henry's attorneys' cease and desist letter against the late One Direction singer. The court documents were reportedly filed on October 9, per NY Post and Page Six, a week before the singer fell to his tragic death in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Per the legal notice, Maya Henry's attorneys claimed:

"[Payne] repeatedly sent unsolicited and disturbing images and videos in the past to Maya Henry, and Maya's family members."

The alleged lewd images included photos of his genitals and several videos where Liam Payne allegedly performed disturbing s*xual acts on himself. The notice from the lawyers also accused the late British singer of "actively communicating" with other people with the intention of distributing "intimate visual material" of Henry, who dated Payne from 2018 to 2022.

As per the letter, Maya Henry received a direct Instagram message from a woman on October 6, who claimed that the former 1D member reached out to her. Payne allegedly offered to send her Henry's n*des as well as those of his current girlfriend, presumably Kate Cassidy.

Her lawyers reportedly sent the cease and desist to the former boyband member, warning him that they would take "criminal action" or file a civil suit against him and other people involved for "any violation or continued threat against Maya Henry." They also noted in the filing that Henry would seek punitive damages if the crooner "defame, threaten, harass, or intimate Henry or her family," but the amount wasn't specified.

It's unclear whether or not the One Direction star replied to the notice, but he passed way before the set deadline of 10 business days to respond to the letter.

Maya Henry recently went public with allegations of abuse against Liam Payne

Besides Maya Henry's lawsuit against Liam Payne, she has also been open about the abuse she allegedly suffered during the years they were together. Maya made grave accusations about the late singer's abusive behavior and stalking in a TikTok video shared on October 6. She said:

"Ever since we broke up, he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone, it's always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it's gonna come from."

Moreover, she visited The Internet is Dead podcast on October 14, just two days before Liam Payne's tragic death, to discuss the abusive relationship she allegedly had with the crooner. Henry claimed that Payne would use his addiction issues as a manipulating tactic, and the threat of his death reportedly continued after they broke up. She said:

"He would always message me ever since we broke up... He would always play with death and be like, 'Well, I'm going to die. I'm not doing well.'"

Liam Payne also allegedly reached out to Henry's mom one time, telling her that he was "not doing well" and to have Maya contact him.

Maya Henry also wrote a book called Looking Forward, which is about a girl who fell in love with a pop star, but their relationship took a nasty turn after she turned to substances. It depicted the pop star's rage, which ended with him punching a hole in a wall, and at one point, he gave the girl an ultimatum: get an ab*rtion or lose me.

While Henry didn't specify how much of her book is inspired by her relationship with Payne, she told People in May 2024 that while the book was fiction, the story is " inspired by true events" and what happened to her.
