Wiz Khalifa recently weighed in on the uncensored footage of Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez fighting on an episode of the reality show BET College Hill: Celebrity Edition, which aired in June 2023. While the network refused to show the full footage of the fight, TMZ released an uncut video of the altercation on July 24, 2024.
In the episode, Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez had a war of words over racial identity, with Hernandez accusing Rose of disavowing her Black heritage.
"Your problem is that you really want to be a white girl. Let's get down to the point. Your problem is that you really don't even want to be black," she said.
In the video, Rose can be seen walking towards Hernandez after the latter called her a "white girl" and hitting her. The fight turned vicious, with bystanders intervening to pry them away from each other.
The video, reposted by @hollywoodunlocked on Instagram, saw Wiz Khalifa drop a comment to assess the situation involving Amber Rose, the mother of his 11-year-old son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
When the episode initially aired in June 2023, the fight was used to advertise the episode, but BET decided not to air the footage, with an onscreen message stating:
“Out of respect for all parties involved, we have chosen not to show this fight. College Hill and ASU do not condone violence of any kind."
After the uncensored footage was released, BET stood by their initial stance, adding that they "remain resolute" in their decision not to air the fight to remain true to their values.
Both Hernandez and Rose addressed the situation separately. Hernandez called Rose a "Karen" on The Breakfast Show in June 2023. Rose claimed that she had to hit Hernandez with an "eight-piece" after being called a white girl when she appeared in an interview with Jason Lee in March 2024.
Amber Rose gave a speech at the RNC to endorse Trump
Amber Rose spoke at the Republic National Convention in Milwaukee on July 15, 2024. She endorsed Donald Trump in her speech, criticizing the media for allegedly lying about him.
“I’m no politician and I don’t wanna be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because for a long time, I believed those lies," she said.
"I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist. I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay or straight. It’s all love. And that’s when it hit me: These are my people. This is where I belong," she added.
In her speech, Amber Rose also said that American families were "wealthier, safer and stronger" when Trump was the President, urging US citizens to vote for Trump so their children could have better lives.
This sudden shift in her political stance surprised people as Amber Rose was vocally against Trump, calling him a "f***king idiot" in a 2016 interview with The Cut. She claimed that she changed her mind about the former president after doing more research and attending his rallies.
