Allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs' parties continue as former Bad Boy executive Dr. LaJoyce Brookshire claimed there was "no safety after a certain hour." She made these accusations in TMZ's documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, sharing her experiences at the parties.

Brookshire, a former publicity director at Arista Records, worked at Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment and noted that she was "always on high alert" during the parties, often leaving early to avoid dangerous situations. She also alleged that she could sense something sinister was happening behind closed doors.

“My spidey senses were always on high alert. And I know that there’s no safety after a certain hour when you’ve got drinks flowing and people behind your back doing drugs in bathrooms, and 2 or 3 people walking out of a bathroom together… so could there potentially be? Absolutely. Did I see it? No. I never stayed at the party late enough to see," she added.

The rumors surrounding Diddy's parties explored

Four years ago, basketball legend LeBron James went on Instagram Live and said "Ain’t no party like a Diddy party." Speculations about the sordid details of the rapper's parties circulated on social media after Sean Combs was arrested on September 16 on charges of "racketeering, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution."

The indictment accused Diddy of conducting parties dubbed as "freak offs," in which the rapper allegedly forced women to engage in elaborate s*x acts with male escorts. The "freak offs" were allegedly events that Combs "arranged, directed, m*sturbated during and often electronically recorded.”

The TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, released on September 26, gave the audience a closer look into the rumors surrounding Diddy's parties. While LaJoyce Brookshire spoke about having "no safety" at the parties, No Jumper podcast host Adam22 elaborated on the well-known tinseltown speculation that the parties often led to orgies.

“There was a lot of talk of Diddy parties. It was always known if you went to a party at Puffs house, and were you to stay past certain hours, you might be introduced to a massive orgy. There were whispers….I don’t think it was common knowledge that there was nonconsensual stuff going on or any of the seedier allegations. But it was definitely discussed,” he said in the documentary.

In a 1999 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Combs mentioned that his parties might lead to his arrest in the future, adding he was doing "all types of crazy things" just to have a good time.

In a 2002 interview with Conan O'Brien, he explained his recipe for a "killer party" was women, joking about having "locks on the doors" to keep them from leaving.

“Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course. You need some water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this but a lot of ladies drink water at parties, so if you don’t have what they need, they’re going to leave. Gotta keep them there. Need locks on the doors,” he said.

Other details discussed in the documentary

When Homeland Security raided the rapper's houses in March, they allegedly found evidence of the "freak offs", as well as narcotics, guns and 1000 bottles of baby oil. Marc Agnifilo, Diddy's attorney, addressed the baby oil bottles in the documentary.

He cast doubt on the quantity the authorities claimed they found on his client's property, then said that Diddy bought the product in bulk at Costco. Following this, Costco issued a statement denying having baby oil in any of its US branches.

Agnifilo also said the rapper was willing to testify and was “very eager to tell his story.”

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. He believes he’s innocent. He believes that he needs to stand up, not just for himself, for his family, for everyone that’s been targeted by the federal government,” the lawyer said.

Agnifilo added that his client was staying positive despite reportedly being on su*cide watch in the Metropolitan Detention Center. He was placed at the center after being denied bail twice. Combs' next hearing is scheduled for October 9, 2024.
