Waka Flocka Flame (aka Juaquin James Malphurs) opined that his vocal support carried more weight than his vote after an X user pointed out that the American rapper has never exercised his democratic right.

On Tuesday, November 5, an X user pointed out that Waka Flocka Flame has never actually voted despite being registered to vote. In addition to sharing screenshots that allegedly prove his non-participation, the user asked him to refrain from voicing his opinion if he didn't cast his vote.

Waka Flocka Flame took to X to respond to the critics, claiming that his voice had a greater influence than his vote. The rapper wrote:

"Keep worry about me not voteN… Y’all mad because i know we second class citizens…. Idgaf but i pay attention to who [sheep emoji]’n… my voice bigger then my vote.. ain’t no punking me!!! Fake Bully’s."

Waka Flocka Flame has remained a staunch supporter of Donald Trump throughout the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign. He first expressed his support in October 2023 by posting a photo with Trump, which sparked heavy online criticism and prompted the rapper to respond.

"I only answer to the people that made me and that's my fans aka the people… I love y'all with every bone in my body man Squaddd," he wrote in a subsequent tweet.

Fast forward to July 2024, Waka Flocka Flame shared an array of tweets endorsing the Republican supremo. The rapper declared that supporting Trump was his choice and wasn't a decision guided by money bags. He wrote:

"Trump still my president I don’t have to stand with a red hat or dance or stage for money in my pockets… didn’t push me this direction… this is my choice like I choose not to eat pork but do that make me hate pork lovers or disrespect their character…nor will I act like…"

On November 2, i.e., just three days before election day, the rapper shared a photo with Donald Trump on Instagram with the caption:

"Big T24!!!! If you don't like me or don't f with me based off my view then the love was never real… and if you engage in public disrespect I will never go back n forth with you ever… Im just moving forward…. Just don't physically touch me.."

He further clarified that no one paid him to support the former president, adding:

"No one made me vote this way or paid me one cent… I chose Trump for my own reasons unlike so many I know but to each is own God is the only judge and God no my heart."

As of writing, Donald Trump has notched up victories in the major swing states like North Carolina and Georgia, taking his tally to 267 electoral votes. The Republican candidate needs just three more to reach the magic figure of 270 and be declared the 47th president of the United States.
