Big Sean reportedly dissed Kanye West in his On The Radar Radio performance that was released on July 17, 2024. Radio personality DJ Hed took to X to confirm the same. It appears as if the alleged diss stems from the comments Ye made about the rapper in a 2021 Drink Champs interview. Netizens have since taken to the internet to react to the same, with one person saying:

During Big Sean’s performance of On The Radar Freestyle on the show, he crooned:

“I got better things to do than find someone to beef with”

Several netizens initially believed that Big Sean was addressing his 2023 beef with Kendrick Lamar. For those uninitiated, the two have been battling it out since August 2013, when Big Sean was weary of Kendrick Lamar claiming that he was the king of New York in the former’s Control song. In response, K. Dot released The Heart Part 4 and Humble, which are believed to diss Big Sean.

Kendrick then seemingly dissed Big Sean in an alternate version of his ELEMENT song that was released in 2023.

However, DJ Hed claimed on July 17, 2024, that he spoke to Big Sean about the On The Radar Freestyle diss. The aforementioned lyrics were reportedly not aimed at Kendrick Lamar but “was directed at a different Gemini.”

Many were quick to assume that it was aimed at Kanye West and took to the internet to react to the same. This comes after Ye claimed that he regretted signing Big Sean to his label in a Drink Champs 2021 interview.

Some reactions to Big Sean's alleged diss read:

“Good on him for going at ye. I was gonna say no way he was even thinking about sneaking dot again,” one X user said.
“Kanye disrespected him so bad on that show,” another X user commented.
“def one of the most foul things Ye has done,” a platform user opined.

Evidently, many were supporting Big Sean after it was alleged that he dissed Ye. Other reactions read:

“Yeah Ye was talking crazy as f**k about a ni**a that always stayed loyal to the GOOD music brand,” another internet user said.
“lol Kanye gonna respond soon…,” another X user said.
“ye get some stray,” an internet user commented.

The possibility of Big Sean dissing Kanye comes as a surprise, as the duo are reportedly collaborating on the former’s upcoming song, Fighting Fires. Meanwhile, other reactions read:

“I hope it's a Kanye diss... The way he disrespected Sean on drink champs was crazy,” another internet user said.
“We would’ve got new music from dot if that was the case,” another platform user stated.

What did Kanye West say about Big Sean? 2021 Drink Champs interview explored

Prior to Kanye West seemingly getting canceled from the music industry, he appeared on the Drink Champs podcast in 2021 to speak about where he stood with Big Sean. When asked whether he preferred Pusha T or Big Sean, West said:

“Oh, I love this! Let me tell you. I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean. No, I’m saying the worst thing I’ve ever done is sign Big Sean.”

He went on to say that he does not “f**k with” the rapper.

However, it seems like the two are putting their beef on the back burner, as Ye reportedly produced Big Sean’s unreleased song Fighting Fires, as aforementioned. The latter also hinted in an Instagram Live on Monday, July 15, 2024, that he would be appearing on Ye’s delayed Vultures 2 album.
