Ever since Diddy was arrested last month, well-known personalities have been reacting to the allegations imposed against him. Actor and comedian D.L. Hughley appeared for an interview on Big Boy's radio show on October 18, 2024, and shared his candid response to Diddy's ongoing legal issue.

Hughley addressed Diddy, also known as Sean John Combs, in the conversation by saying:

"Like, he went from a private jet to a bike. Hey, man, I haven't trusted Puffy since he came up with peach Ciroc. Any n***a that come up with peaches and vodka... But remember the prosecutor with the evidence, and the AK-47 with the serial number scratched out?"

Notably, a grand jury indictment obtained by Page Six a day after Sean's arrest revealed a lot of details related to the raids conducted at the rapper's houses in March 2024. The authorities discovered items that were used in the alleged s*x events called "freak-offs" organized by Combs in hotel rooms.

The items included numerous bottles of "baby oil and lubricant", and Hughley referred to the same as he stated:

"Thousand bottles of baby oil? Nick Cannon got 900 kids, and he ain't even got a thousand bottles of baby oil. Listen… Nobody has that!"

While Sean is currently awaiting trial, certain celebrities have been opening up about their participation in his parties. Most recently, actor Corey Feldman said in a clip posted by TMZ on October 18, 2024, that he was never invited to any of the parties. He added that the allegations against Sean were "disgusting" and he was happy since justice was being served to the rapper's victims.

Diddy's legal team is currently preparing for his upcoming trial

The 54-year-old's legal issues emerged after his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him in November last year, which included charges of abuse and r*pe against him. Although the lawsuit was settled later, a series of other lawsuits started pouring in.

Several other alleged victims accused Diddy of s*xual assault and he was eventually taken into custody on September 16, 2024. He was charged with s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

While his bail requests have been denied by the court, a trial date was set for May 5, 2025, earlier this month. He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and his legal team is now preparing for the upcoming trial.

According to ABC News, Diddy's attorneys approached the judge on Wednesday, October 16, stating that the prosecutors should reveal the names of the alleged victims. The lawyers sent a letter, claiming that the random allegations emerging every day have ruined Sean's character and reputation among the public. The letter also read:

"This case is unique, in part because of the number of individuals levying allegations against Mr. Combs due to his celebrity status, wealth, and the publicity of his previously settled lawsuit and the grand jury leaks and false inflammatory statements by the DHS agents."

The lawyers mentioned that although they requested the federal prosecutors to identify the alleged victims, they refused to do the same. Although the prosecutors accused Sean of operating an enterprise involved in s*x trafficking and other criminal activities, he has pleaded not guilty to any of the charges.
