Nicki Minaj performed at the Resorts World Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, UK, on May 26, 2024, as part of her Pink Friday 2 World tour, also known as the Gag City tour. During the performance, a fan rapped the lyrics of her Bang Bang song verse after being asked by the singer. The fan sang the entire third verse of the song:
"It's Myx Moscato, it's frizz in a bottle/It's Nicki Full Throttle, it's oh-oh/Swimming in The Grotto, we winning in the lotto/We dipping in the powder blue, four-door/Kitten so good, it's dripping on wood/Get a ride in the engine that could go/Batman, robbin' it, bang-bang, c**king it/Queen Nicki dominant, prominent/It's me, Jessie and Ari, if they test me -"
The fan continued rapping for the full thirty seconds he was allotted by the singer.
"-they sorry/Ride his, uh, like a Harley then pull off in his Ferrari/If he hanging, we banging, phone ranging, he slanging/It ain't karaoke night but get the mic 'cause I'm singing/Uh, B to the A to the N to the G to the-/Uh, B to the A to the N to the G to the, hey/See, anybody could be good to you/You need a bad girl to blow your mind/Your mind, hey (okay)"
Minaj rewarded him with a thousand dollars after his performance. The same concert also saw the Chun-Li rapper give a shout-out to Ariana Grande.
Nicki Minaj missed Manchester concert due to her arrest
Nicki Minaj performed her Birmingham concert after failing to perform in Manchester, UK, at the Co-Op live on the day before after being arrested by the Dutch police for the possession of soft drugs, i.e., marijuana.
The singer livestreamed the incident as it took place, posting it on her official Instagram page on May 25, 2024, with the following statement:
"They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show. They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal."
The singer was held for six hours and fined €350 before being released. The singer has now vowed legal action against the police, stating that she was letting her lawyers take the matter up from here on out.
"So, they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight. I succeeded [at] getting to the root of it all by recording them [and] posting everything in real time… I’ll have the lawyers [and] God take it from here [though].”
