DDG and Kai Cenat seemingly had a verbal spat when the rapper appeared on Cenat's Mafiathon 2 livestream on November 6, 2024. The two and rapper NLE Choppa were talking on the livestream when Cenat read a comment that said "DDG fell off."

The rapper was seemingly offended by the comment, asking Cenat why he read it out loud. He said it was "not cool" of the streamer to invite him over for a livestream and then insult him.

Cenat claimed the comment was spammed several times in the chat, leading to him reading the comment out loud. The rapper replied:

"That's some ho* a** s**t, bro I didn't have to come here."

The argument seemingly escalated after that, with Cenat asking the rapper to leave the stream if he felt offended. However, the two later revealed that the argument was a skit to prank NLE Choppa, also mentioned in a community note attached to the video.

The clip, posted by @FearedBuck on X, went viral on the social media platform, amassing 3.8 million views at the time of the article. Netizens commented about NLE Choppa's reactions sitting between the two people arguing, writing:

"Bro NLE Choppa literally in the middle just cheesing."
"When you go to your friend house and they mom start yelling at them," one person tweeted.
"Choppa is me in existential situations," another person added.
"Bro in the middle just minding his business," someone else commented.

Others took sides in the argument without knowing it was a prank.

"DDG has a point why is Kai disrespecting his guests," someone commented.
"I really agree with Kai Cenat, he just read comment, doesn't mean he thinks that about DDG," another netizen wrote.
"Kai is so weird for that bro," one person posted.
"DDG mad because he knows he fell off," another commenter tweeted.

In another clip, Kai Cenat and DDG pretended to physically fight while NLE Choppa was outside the room to further escalate the prank. However, they disclosed to Choppa that it was a skit, which the rapper claimed he knew.

DDG brought his son to Kai Cenat's livestream

DDG brought his son, whom he shares with actress Halle Bailey, to Kai Cenat's Twitch stream. The pair welcomed their son in December 2023.

Following the livestream, The Little Mermaid actress posted on X that she was "extremely upset" that her son was on the stream. She added she did not approve of having her baby be shown to "millions of people."

"[H]i everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don't approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn't told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protect and saddened that i wasn't notified especially when i am out of town," she wrote.

Bailey has reportedly deactivated her X account following backlash for her post.

DDG and Bailey recently revealed they broke up after dating for over two years. The rapper took to Instagram Story to announce the news on October 3. He said he and Bailey decided to co-parent their son, adding they cherished their bond but "decided to go our separate ways."

In other news, Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2 stream is well underway, with the streamer scheduled to livestream on Twitch every day throughout November.

2Cenat already entertained celebrities like GloRilla and Kodak Black in the first few days of his subathon in an attempt to break fellow streamer Ironmouse's record.
