Ice Spice recently appeared for the BronxWorks Girls Empowerment Day in New York on December 24 andperformed Hannah Montana as a portion of the performance series From The Block. For the unversed, the song is from the rapper's latest album Y2K! : I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe).

While this album contained all the songs from Spice's debut album Y2K!, there were some brand new ones too. Hannah Montana has become one of this album's most talked about songs.

As for the rapper's recent performance of the song, netizens didn't hold back their reactions on social media. Here are some popular responses found on X.

A lot of other users criticized the rapper for the song and didn't seemingly enjoy the performance. However, amid criticism, she also received some support. A user tweeted:

Ice Spice's latest album contained five new songs apart from the ones from the original ones

As reported by HotNewHipHop in an article published on December 25, 2024, Ice Spice's debut album, released earlier this year, received an underwhelming response from the audience. She then released a new project with some new and old songs on Christmas Day.

The new album of Ice Spice consists of five new tracks: Hannah Montana featuring DaBaby and NLE Choppa, BB Belt (Remix) with Bb trickz, Popa (Remix) with Anuel AA, So What? and Like.

In an article by Complex, published on December 25, it was further reported that Spice gave her fans options of cover art. Fans received two versions of the cover art in pink and the other in blue, initially created by David LaChapelle.

According to Complex, while the numbers generated by the original Y2K! album didn't seem great, Ice Spice wasn't bothered much. She even spoke about the song Like..?, which sold about 15,000 copies. She said:

"Like..? did 15k so thank u to everyone who supported me then & thank u to all the new supporters. Y2K! WORLD TOUR been so fun that these numbers are cool and all but bitch u should of seen that Boston CROWD last night."

As for her latest song, Hannah Montana, featuring DaBaby and NLE Choppa, it garnered more than 52,000 views and over 6,800 likes within 11 hours since it was uploaded on YouTube. The YouTube video also recorded more than 680 comments under it.
