Megan Thee Stallion's former best friend, Kelsey Nicole, is under fire for her comments on the latter's shooting rumors. This happened after the parties engaged in the gunshot incident that injured Megan Thee Stallion formally cleared Kelsey Harris of any culpability.

Harris stated on her X account on August 1, 2024, that news and coverage in the media are frequently unclear. She went on to say that, despite what the media is saying, it's critical to keep in mind both parties engaged in the incident have denied any involvement with her.

Stating the same, she wrote on X,

"It's easy to get lost in the media, but let's remember MY NAME was cleared by both parties involved. Stay tuned."

Kelsey Nicole broke silence over Megan Thee Stallion's shooting speculation

Following the recent testimony from Tory Lanez's driver regarding the night of the Megan Thee Stallion shooting and Joe Budden's analysis of it, Kelsey Harris has spoken up. To clear up any confusion over the alleged gunshot incident involving Megan and Tory Lanez, she broke her silence on August 1, 2024.

The statement was made in response to Tory Lanez's driver, Jauquan Smith's comment. He claimed to have seen Harris brandish a gun during the confrontation and Lanez trying to "disarm" her. This happened after Joe Budden's July 31, 2024, reflection on the shooting on his podcast, The Joe Budden Podcast, and dropping hints that he knew who was responsible for it.

He further suggested that Lanez was being set up. Budden also referred to Megan Thee Stallion as a "pawn," saying:

"First of all, I think it's above her. I don't think she made it up. It's above her. She's a mere pawn in this. This play is greater than her. She didn't make nothing up."

In his podcast, Budden went into further depth about the driver's posture, including his memories of the event. He further threw light on the fact that Harris had insisted on her innocence ever since she was given immunity at the 2022 trial.

Additionally, he asserted that Harris had curiously contacted him and asked him to stop talking about the shooting on his platform. Stating the same, he then recalled,

"I thought it was weird that the last time we talked about this sh*t Kelsey jumped in my DMs talking 'bout, 'Hey, don't talk about this no more.' Why? You got immunity. That's odd."

In July 2020, Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez, and Kelsey Harris were returning from a late-night party at Kylie Jenner's Hollywood Hills house when the alleged gunshot incident occurred. In the car, they got into a fight. After she exited the car, Lanez allegedly started firing at her feet. She had surgery while in the hospital.

Following this, Kelsey Nicole has been silent about everything that happened that night since Megan Thee Stallion's shooting. Her testimony was especially suspicious because she renounced several things she said when questioned.
