Charli XCX recently bid farewell to the viral "Brat Summer" era, which was inspired by the British singer's Brat album that debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts during its June 7 release.

The pop star is ready to move on as she announced the era's death on X on Monday, September 2. She eulogized the viral summer trend, writing, "Goodbye forever Brat Summer."

However, some fans are not ready to end the era yet. One, in particular, asked about the remix of the Brat album.

"Damnnn so no remix album???," a fan on Reddit wrote.

The Brat remix has been a fan-anticipated album, and Charli XCX previously teased fans with the Girl, So Confusing remix with Lorde. Hence, more fans took to social media to inquire about the remix album, hoping that Summer wouldn't be the end of the Brat era.

"Girl we still don't got the remix album and summer doesn't technically end for another 3 weeks, get back here!!!," a fan on X wrote.
"Girl what isn't the remix album coming out on October 11?," another fan inquired.
"I hope this doesn't mean brat era is over," another fan on X wrote.

Other fans, however, agreed with the end of the Brat Summer and shared their goodbyes to the viral era. Plenty of them also expressed their anticipation towards the next brat era as autumn arrives.

"Goodbye forever, brat summer! You've been a blast, but I'm ready for the chill vibes autumn. Let's make some new memories in the cooler months," an X user said.
"Farewell, Brat Summer! It's been a wild ride, hasn't it? Here's to the memories, the sunburns, and the endless antics. May your next season be just as brattishly delightful," another one chimed in.

The British singer took the summer season by storm with the release of her 15-track album, Brat, her sixth studio album, in June. The now-viral lime green album cover started a unique summer aesthetic, Brat Summer, that took off on social media, particularly on TikTok.

However, three months after the release and with a couple of weeks before summer ends with the autumn equinox, Charli XCX announced that the Brat Summer era is done.

The internet phenom shared the same Brat Summer eulogy on her Instagram account alongside a series of clips soundtracked to some of her Brat songs.

The clips featured TikTok videos of different personalities, including Bella Hadid's viral Brat dance to Charli XCX's Apple in a plunging, figure-hugging black gown. Another one was of Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West's version of the now-famous Apple dance challenge.

The carousel also included a concert video featuring the lime green aesthetic with "Brat Club" written in the background, soundtracked to Charli XCX's Everything Is Romantic.

In the comments, some are ready to end the Brat Summer era in hopes that a Brat Autumn is coming, while others wrote about keeping the Brat Summer aesthetic for the entire year.
