Exploring the lawsuit filed by Ziya Abashe, where she accused DJ Akademiks of r*ping her

On Tuesday, USA Today obtained the court documents of the civil lawsuit, which was filed a day back by Ziya Abashe. The suit included some horrific allegations against DJ Akademiks, alleging that he was involved in drugging and r*ping her. The victim had also stated that there were two more accomplices involved, however, their identities weren't revealed and had been described as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2.

In a statement by the complainant's lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, given to USA Today, he said,

"Litigation is always the last resort. After several unsuccessful attempts to resolve this case privately, Ms Abashe was left with no choice but to file. Mr. Allen’s hubris will be his downfall."

The complainant, who is a writer from Pennsylvania, had sued Ak and the two accomplices for s*xual assault, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and defamation. The lawsuit claimed that Ak and Ziya began "casually dating" in 2021, after they first connected on social media.

In the suit, Ziya further claimed that she had suffered from immense psychological and physical trauma after the alleged actions caused by DJ Akademiks. She had further bashed Ak's public statements and claimed that they have further intensified her agony. Netizens are now waiting to get some response from Ak after the documents and photos surfaced online.
