Eminem released brand new visuals for his upcoming album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) just two days before the release of the much-anticipated album and the fans are going crazy over it. The Rap God rapper posted a 26-second clip on his X account with a morbid horror undertone that has become an iconic feature of his new album.
The clip shows the epitaph of the rapper's alter ego Slim Shady on a stormy night inside a graveyard. Moments later, the real Eminem enters the scene and spits on his grave. This resurrects his Slim Shady as we see his hand coming out of the grave.
""It feels so empty without him," wrote the rapper in the caption.
However, the clip has gotten more traction because of Eminem's use of a particular meme reference that recently went viral. The rapper ended the caption with the onomatopoeia 'HAWK TUAH.' Wide-eyed followers of TikTok trends and memes will be aware of the famous 'HAWK TUAH' girl who is trending on all social media platforms after her short interview went viral because of a hilarious response.
Fans of the rapper have showered their opinions in the comment section about his use of the viral meme in his promotional content for The Death of Slim Shady.
Some of the reactions are as follows:
"NOOOO GOAT NOT THIS MEME," commented one fan.
"Eminem saying Hawk Tuah was not in my 2024 agenda," quipped another.
"We got Eminem saying Hawk Tuah before gta 6," commented another fan, referencing the release of the NSFW game in 2025.
The fans didn't hide their excitement for the upcoming Eminem album which will be his first after a hiatus of over four years.
"oh my god its coming," declared one Eminem fan.
"Damn! You know that girl made it big when Marshall is using her as a reference" opined another fan.
"Man said "Hawk Tuah" sigh. Like I said I'm here no matter what GOAT," inferred another fan.
Eminem has already declared that the release date for The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) is scheduled to be July 12. As of this writing, only one day is left for Eminem's iconic comeback.
Before the album's release, only Big Sean and Babytron are reported to be featuring in Eminem's new album along with the rapper himself. However, Apple Music has accidentally (or not) released the tracklist of The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) by listing all the musical numbers in the rapper's upcoming album on their platform. From there, it can be speculated that juggernauts like 50 Cent, Billie Eilish, Skylar Grey, and Dr. Dre might have a cameo in the upcoming album.

Who is the 'HAWK TUAH' girl? Viral meme referenced by Eminem explained
The Hawk Tuah trend started when a mild NSFW video by YouTubers Tim & Dee TV went viral on Instagram and other social media platforms. The YouTubers ask curious questions to random strangers on the road and post the videos online to amass views. The word 'hawk tuah' is actually an onomatopoeia that signifies the sound one makes when they are spitting forcefully.
In an Instagram reel posted on June 11, DeArius Marlow or Dee asked an NSFW question to two women in Nashville.
"What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?"
In response, one of the girls named Hailey Welch responded by saying:
"Aww, you gotta give him that 'hawk tuah' and spit on that thang, you get me?"
The NSFW nature of her saying "hawk tuah" in a thick Southern accent made Hailey Welch an instant hit on Instagram, where she became known as the "hawk tuah girl" or "spit on that thing girl."
Tim and Dee's viral video reached nine million views in seven days, spawning numerous memes. Hailey capitalized on her accidental fame by partnering with Tennessee company Fathead Threads to sell merchandise based on the "hawk tuah" trend.
Now that even Eminem has referenced her meme in his upcoming album's promotion, fans are suspecting that the woman's popularity will skyrocket even further.
