A video of an artist creating a sand sculpture of rapper Dave Blunts recently went viral on social media. On January 5, 2024, No Jumper uploaded a video of an unnamed artist sculpting Dave Blunts' face and upper body using sand on its official X page.

Dave Blunt's sand sculpture was met with mixed reviews on social media. Several netizens commented on the rapper's physique in relation to the sculpture, with one person tweeting:

"How did they find enough sand?" someone else questioned.

"This is who the NBA needed for that damn D Wade Statue," another user added.
"the artist has good talent to do this, " a user added.

Dave Blunts is focused on "bettering" his health in 2025

Days into the new year, Dave Blunts revealed to his fans that he is focused on "bettering" his health this year. The rapper raised concerns after he was spotted using an oxygen tank while performing at Juice WRLD Day in November 2024.

In his Instagram post dated January 2, 2024, the rapper also expressed his frustration at his hospital photos being leaked without his permission. In his post, he claimed a "40 year old man" decided to record him while he was sleeping in his hospital bed and uploaded it to social media.

Dave Blunts said he was at the hospital after contracting the flu and didn't want his fans to know to avoid further worry. He continued that the leaked photos were a setback in his health journey, writing:

"I promise I am 100% focused on bettering my health in 2025 and this setback is making me feel like I can’t do it because every time I try something like this happens I had been doing so good by walking and standing up at my shows instead of sitting down and showing people that I’m actually making progress but I guess it was all for nothing I’m not giving up as long as you guys don’t give up on me but this s**t is hard especially when 40 year old deadbeat fathers decide to record me at my lowest moment in the hospital."

However, he promised his fans that he was not giving up, adding that giving up meant he was not enough for his fans. The rapper's most recent post included him exercising by weightlifting.

In another prior post, Dave Blunts also promised to retire his quintessential purple tracksuit to signal the "end of the era," adding he wanted to focus on improving his health and life. He also asked fans to suggest a new tracksuit color to signify his new era.

On a professional front, Dave Blunts released his debut album, Well Dude Here's My Thing, in June 2024. He also released his second album, If I Could I Would, in October 2024, just months after his debut LP. Both LPs are available for streaming on music platforms.
