Pooh Shiesty recently flirted with Cardi B amid news of the latter's divorce from Offset. On Wednesday, August 22, 2024, the rapper went on Instagram Live to talk about her living status, explaining that despite having a property in Georgia (with Offset), she was currently in New Jersey.

Cardi also brought up wanting to buy an apartment in New York to add to her property investment portfolio. During the live session, fans spotted a comment from Pooh Shiesty's account that read,

"I’m 5 mins away baby open the door."

Shiesty's comment came as a shock to netizens, as he is currently in prison serving time. One user commented,

On Wednesday, July 31, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset after six years of marriage. Page Six first reported the news and added that she was seeking primary custody of their children, daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, and son Wave Set, 2½. Rumors suggest that the Open It Up rapper cheated on his wife. However, a representative for Cardi told PEOPLE,

"(The divorce is) not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming."

A day after the news broke, the songstress took to her Instagram to announce she was pregnant with her third child. She addressed the post to her baby, writing,

"With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!"

Last December, Cardi B revealed in another Instagram Live session she had been single for some time. Per a report by PEOPLE, a source close to the rapper claimed filing for divorce was not a straightforward decision for Cardi but was "a long time coming." The source also explained that despite their issues, both rappers are "still friendly and will co-parent."

Cardi and Offset have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since their wedding in September 2017. They announced their split a year later but reconciled. In 2020, Cardi filed for divorce, but ultimately the pair called it off.
