In the Thursday episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lance Bass spoke about an incident involving Sean "Diddy" Combs during NSYNC's final tour in 2002. Bass, 45, claimed he overheard Diddy urging Justin Timberlake to abandon his bandmates.
This revelation comes amidst ongoing controversies surrounding Diddy, who was recently arrested on several charges, including s*x trafficking and racketeering.
During the final NSYNC show in Orlando, Bass recalled overhearing Diddy telling Timberlake:
"You need to drop these f-ers. You need to go solo. You need to drop [them]," Lance Bass said, referring to Diddy.
Bass also described Diddy’s actions as "kind of horrible."

Recalling the aforementioned incident, Bass said he felt 'disrespected' at his own concert.
"I forgot he had opened up on our last tour until all this came about. I was like, I don’t like you anymore, Diddy. At my own show? What the hell!" he expressed.
NSYNC, originally formed in 1995, included Timberlake, Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez. The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2002, coinciding with Timberlake's release of his debut solo album, Justified.
They reformed and released a song, Better Place, included in the Trolls Band Together film almost 20 later in 2023. They also teamed up on Paradise, from Timberlake's recent album, Everything I Thought I Was.
In the same interview, Lance Bass hinted at the possibility of an NSYNC reunion tour.
"I can finally say we’re in talks right now,"he confirmed. "We’d be stupid not to do something. Just hold your breath just a little longer. It’s gonna take a little time, but I think something’s coming."
This excitement among fans follows the band’s recent resurgence and interest in their classic hits, including Bye Bye Bye, which gained renewed popularity after being featured in the opening credits of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Meanwhile, Diddy was arrested in New York City and charged with racketeering conspiracy and s*x trafficking. He is accused of abusing women and employing intimidation tactics to control his victims. Diddy has denied the accusations but is currently in prison after he was refused bail.
Lance Bass explained he isn't interested in getting involved with one of his social circles.
"I never had time to go to a Diddy party," he stated.
Lance Bass said the boyband had been spurred on to get back into their music, with all new releases generating a lot of interest in the band again. "We’d be stupid not to do something," he said, prompting fans everywhere to wonder what we might be getting from NSYNC.
