Lady Gaga shared a surprise teaser snippet of an unreleased new song from the roof of her vehicle while she was out in Paris on Sunday, July 28, 2024. The snippet comes amid anticipation among her fans for her upcoming seventh album.

Lady Gaga was spotted greeting her fans from the roof of her vehicle on Sunday, dressed in an all-black outfit with a blazer and a trouser. She had a ponytail and a fashionable pair of black sunglasses. The singer played a short snippet of her upcoming track on her tablet as everyone cheered.

The internet erupted with Gaga's revelation and many took to X(formerly Twitter) to share their excitement about the singer's upcoming track and album.

"WE NEED IT," one fan said.

"ENOUGH TIME HAS PASSED x Womans World found DEAD," another fan took a dig at Katy Perry's latest release.

"OMG THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS NOT READY, FINALLY SOMETHING FRESH," one fan wrote.

"ITS GIVING A DARKER ARTPOP WE WON," one X user wrote.

Fans continued to display their excitement on X, although some pointed out that much of the music was not audible because of the yelling around Gaga.

"I knew loud people won’t let us hear a thing! They do that in Jazz & Piano shows too! She came with an iPad!!!" one person pointed out.

"All I heard was yelling," another person added.

"OMFGGGGG THIS VIDEO YOU CAN HEAR IT SO GOOD OMFGGGGGGGGGGG ITS GIVING METAL ITS GIVING ROCK ITS GIVING GAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" one fan quipped.

Ahead of sharing her new song's snippet, Lady Gaga garnered attention with her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Lady Gaga revealed she was working on new music earlier in 2024

In May 2024, Lady Gaga spoke about working on new music for her highly-anticipated seventh album during the premiere of her Gaga Chromatica Ball concert film. As per The Hollywood Reporter, the singer said she's written and composed many songs and is exploring new genres. She said:

"I have written so many songs, I've been producing so many songs, and it's nothing like anything that I've ever made before. I love to break genre and I love to explore music. There's something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do."

Speaking further about her new music, Gaga said she's exploring the art of intensity. She added:

"Something I'm definitely exploring right now is sort of the art of intensity and I think that the art of intensity actually began during this tour. But I'm not done with it yet."

In another interview with drag queen Sasha Velour during the promotion of her Gaga Chromatica Ball concert film in June 2024, Lady Gaga shared that she's been having an incredible time working in her studio.

The singer added that she has "been in the studio all the time" as she's "making a lot of music." Gaga was excited for her Little Monsters (a self-given name for Gaga's fans) to hear what she's been working on.

Earlier in July 2024, Gaga also shared black-and-white images of herself while seemingly recording songs in her studio on her Instagram. In the caption, she confirmed she was working on new music, and wrote:

"Just me in the studio-happy as ever making music. Feel so grateful, heart is peaceful. It's like meditation. I can't wait for you to hear what I'm working on."

Lady Gaga's previous and sixth studio album, Chromatica, was released in 2020. Speaking to Velour, Gaga recalled the process of working on Chromatica and said:

"Chromatica, for me, is an ending and a beginning at the same time. It was like every faculty that I have when it comes to being an imaginative person just came back full throttle."

At the end of her Gaga Chromatica Ball concert film, Lady Gaga included a short tease for her seventh album. The film ended with a short snippet of an unreleased new song from the singer, with the words "LG7. Gaga returns." on the screen. However, she has not revealed a date for the release of the anticipated album.
