When Lil Durk joined Drake and J. Cole on the 'It's All A Blur' Tour
In February 2024, Lil Durk joined Drake and J. Cole on their It's All A Blur tour. Drizzy and Durk shared a collaborative Instagram post, confirming the inclusion of the Chicago rapper. The caption read:
"BIGGER & BIGGER @lildurk joins us on the road to bring you all the most T’d show of your life."
It remains to be seen whether Lil Durk joins hand with Drizzy once again to replicate their success with Laugh Now, Cry Later. Released through Republic Records and OVO Sound in 2020, the track debuted at No 1 on the Canadian Hot 100 and number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The song was originally intended to be the lead single of Drizzy's 2021 album, Certified Lover Boy. The track also received nominations for the categories Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
Although the song did not feature in Drizzy's 2021 hit album, Lil Durk did end up featuring in the album as he collaborated with Drake for the song, In the Bible. Durk famously used his lyrics in the track to promote his girlfriend India Royale's luxury make-up brand, India Royale Beauty. Durk rapped:
“India Royale cosmetic, I’m just promoting my bi*ch/Drake song do a billion streams for sure, I’m just promoting her s*it.”
As explained in the lyrics, Lil Durk supposedly decided to use the lyrics in a track from the Toronto rapper's album to promote his girlfriend's venture, as he knew it would lead to a billion streams. It went on to debut on number 1 in the Billboard 200.
In other news, Drizzy was recently spotted in Miami amid his feud with Rick Ross. Fans online were surprised to see the Toronto rapper in Miami since it is Ross's hometown.
DJ Akademiks shared a short clip on his Instagram of Drake going out for dinner in the city. Akademiks also claimed that Drizzy's presence in the city was a befitting reply to his alleged haters who supposedly claimed he could not step foot in Miami because of Rick Ross.
