"One bottle of baby oil goes a long way" — Diddy's lawyer raises eyebrows over justification of 1,000 bottles claim

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo recently sat down with TMZ as part of the forthcoming Tubi documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment. In the September 25 published article, Agnifilo explained that the feds discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from his client’s houses during the March raids because he bought them “in bulk” from Costcos.

“I guess — I don’t know what you need a thousand [for]. One bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don’t know what you need a thousand for. [Diddy] has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home,” Marc claimed.

The criminal defense attorney also expressed his doubt about the number “1000” and alleged that he was unsure where it came from, adding, “I don’t think it was a thousand. Let’s just say it was a lot.”

Exploring what Diddy’s lawyer recently said about the seized baby oil bottles

Earlier this week, Marc Agnifilo spoke with TMZ’s Harvey Levin as part of an upcoming documentary on Diddy. He claimed that what the prosecutors are now calling “freak off” parties in his client’s case, were previously allegedly called “threesomes” when he was growing up in the late ‘70s.

However, according to the unsealed grand jury indictment, “freak offs” were described as “elaborate s*x performances” where young and often underaged girls were compelled through “force, threats… and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended s*x acts with male commercial s*x workers.” U.S. Attorneys have accused Diddy of hosting such parties and watching or recording “freak offs,” often without the knowledge of the female victims.

Marc Agnifilo also claimed that Diddy used the massive supply of baby oil and lubricant seized by the feds to have “threesomes” and not “freak-offs.”

“I don’t know where the number ‘1,000’ came from. I can’t imagine it’s thousands [of bottles of baby oil and lube], and I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”

When the interviewer shared that the baby oil was perhaps used as “a lubricant for an orgy,” the lawyer further claimed how that didn’t still explain thousands of them, adding that the only explanation could be that Diddy bought them in bulk from retail stores like Costco.

“I mean, have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?”

This is not the first time Marc Agnifilo has claimed about1000 bottles of baby oil. Last week, during an exclusive interview with the New York Post, the attorney shared how “1000” was not the correct amount reported, and suggested it was just “a lot.”

“I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know. And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. You know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow s*x is a bad thing, because, if it was, there would be no more people,” Marc told The NY Post.

For those unaware, Diddy’s houses in Miami and Los Angeles were raided earlier this year by federal agents as part of a Homeland Security Investigation on the s*x trafficking charges mentioned in several of his lawsuits. More than 1000 baby oil bottles, numerous bottles of lubricants, guns, and ammunition such as three AR-15s, were seized from the properties. Other items that were found at the Bad Boy Records mogul’s residences include “controlled substances… extra linens, and lightings.”

Meanwhile, Sean Combs was arrested by federal authorities from the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City on September 16 following a grand jury indictment. Currently, he is being held without bond at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on suicide watch.

He has been charged with three felony counts including racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arraigned at Manhattan Federal Court on September 17 where he was denied bail twice, despite pleading “not guilty,” as the prosecutors argued he was a “serious flight risk.” If convicted, Diddy is looking at 15 years to life in federal prison.
