Katt Williams has again made his way into the headlines after the comedian shared an AI-edited video of Diddy amidst his arrest for the alleged s*x trafficking and assault charges. Sharing the edited image, he claimed that he is convinced that Diddy AKA Sean Combs will snitch in court.
As the video came in just a week after Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, from New York’s Hyatt Hotel following a grand jury indictment, it garnered a lot of attention and opinions from the masses.
Many netizens once again started talking about Katt Williams’ comments about turning down invitations to Diddy’s party, as he claimed the same in Shannon Sharpe’s podcast episode, which aired in January 2024. As an Instagram account, @TheShadeRoom shared the clip of the AI-edited video uploaded by Katt Williams, one netizen noted:
“Katt opened a portal after that Shannon Sharpe interview.”
On the other hand, others also reacted to the video and stated:
For the unversed, Diddy was arrested a week back after his trial in the New York court. The arrest stemmed from the many lawsuits and complaints filed on the rapper by multiple women, and a raid conducted on his house in March 2024.
The complaints against Diddy started coming in after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie filed a lawsuit against him and accused him of s*xual assault, forced drug use and assault.
“Just to protect my integrity”: Katt Williams’ statement about not wanting to attend Diddy’s parties revisited as the comedian shares an AI-edited video
The video by Katt Williams came in just after his old clip from January 2024, from Shannon Sharpe’s podcast started trending once again. During the podcast, Katt Williams shared his strong opinions about the rapper and claimed that he has turned down many invitations to Diddy’s parties.
Claiming how he did what he did to “protect” his “integrity,” Katt said in the podcast:
"Just to protect my integrity and that virgin hole I was telling you about, right? 'Cause P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no. I did. See, I got the receipts for everything I'm telling you, that's why I can say them so freely.”
As Diddy got arrested, his lawyers also filed a bail package, in a letter to U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter, to include a $50 million bail bond, his passport, and many other documents to prove that he won’t flee the country. However, prosecutors argued that the rapper was a flight risk, which made the judges deny the bail plea.
At the moment, neither Kat Williams has responded to the comments of the masses, nor have the attorneys of the rapper acknowledged the video.
