Less than a week after Lil Durk's arrest in Florida, the rumors of OTF Jam - one of his fellow group members - snitching on him are everywhere on the internet. A video uploaded on X on Monday, October 28 - of a conversation between Trenches News and DJ Akademiks - sees Trenches mentioning that it was OTF Jam - a rapper who has allegedly been an FBI informant for several years.
Akademiks also told Trenches in the video if it was Lil Durk ignoring calls from Jam's "baby mama" that led to threats, saying:
"I heard you say something about, like, his [OTF Jam's] baby mama call Durk for a lawyer and Durk may have brushed it off and they were, like, yo, you're not supposed to brush off my call when I need something... I'm the guy who does the dirt for you."
Standing by the comments he made in the past, Trenches asserted:
"That's facts."
As per Tribune's report, Wack 100 also brought up OTF Jam on his show on October 27, alleging that the rapper was served a 10-year prison sentence and was released from jail in 2022.
OTF Jam was named the alleged snitch behind Lil Durk's arrest by Trenches
Prior to the revelation about OTF Jam's baby mama, Akademiks asked Trenches if the rumors about the rapper wearing a wire were true in the X video, saying:
"So I'm asking you this: What do you think the likelihood is that he's cooperating [with the FBI] and he recorded Durk and other people while they were discussing crimes?"
To that, Trenches answered:
"Well, he's doing it, man... whether the Quando Rondo incident or other incidents, he totally listening... all the members [of the OTF] said that he told [the FBI]."
Trenches then went on to describe the dynamics between gangs that function in a manner OTF allegedly did, adding:
"In them type of situations, you got some real demons out there... it's like, ni**a, you finna buy me out no matter what I did, or you gonna come in with me. If you participate in a crime, you gotta feed the killers, man... you gotta feed them all."
Upon hearing that, DJ Akademiks recalled Lil Woody saying "the same thing" to him in the past, pointing out that no gang member is happy to rot in jail while the leader is out there "having the time of [their] lives."
On Wack 100's show, he discussed with DJ Vlad that OTF Jam allegedly began cooperating with the FBI shortly after his prison release, which is around the time Lul Pab died in the Beverly gas station shooting.
According to NPR, the August 2022 shooting was allegedly an attempted revenge killing of Quando Rondo by Lil Durk and his group members. Rondo was in the Cadillac with his sister and cousin, Lul Pab at the time. However, they remained unharmed, with only Pab sustaining serious injuries which eventually led to his death.
Court records allege Lil Durk's murder-for-hire stemmed from King Von's killing in 2020
On Saturday, October 26, NPR News reported that while Lil Durk was arrested on murder-for-hire charges in connection to the 2022 shooting of Quando Rondo's cousin - Lul Pab or Saviay'a Robinson - the incident stemmed from another shootout from two years ago.
According to the federal reports obtained by the news outlet, Durk was motivated to allegedly avenge his close friend and collaborator, King Von - who was shot multiple times by a friend of Rondo's - Lul Tim - in November 2020, outside an Atlanta nightclub. Von - whose original name was Dayvon Bennett - was also an OTF member before his death.
Lil Durk is being held in the Broward County Jail in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as he awaits his trial.
